I just might order a few 55gal barrels of nic and a Thompson .45 (aka "Tommy gun"), change my name to Scott Escobar (or maybe Scott Capone), and get rich off this mess.
I need a false floor in my car trunk

Just spent a long weekend in Asheville, it has changed a lot since that movie was filmed.
I grew up in Asheville.....kinda.
I went back last year to see blackberry Smoke. Yup, I'd say it's definitely changed in the last 35 years. I liked it better back then...

Instead of taking the Survivalist mentality of stockpiling, I think we should be protesting loudly, with coherent, eloquent voices. This is not an accomplished fact, and we should all be sending emails, making calls to your legislators, and the White House.

Don't quit before we have begun to fight!
Think Churchill :thumb:

Part of the fight, is being prepared to fight your enemy way past the point They thought they won.
And while would I enjoy a real democratic system within our Republic, that is Not what we are fighting against. We are fighting a bureaucrat, plain and simple, that has the power to write his own laws, as he sees fit. And at every turn we have been shown that the whole bureaucratic system Just Doesn't Care what we think.
Changes are coming. For better or worse.

Listen. I'm getting concerned. I ordered my first order of unmixed nic. If I'm putting to much or not enough someone tell me. So the delivery was scheduled for today but it's possible due to weather there are delays because I'm on the east coast The package did not update since Sunday. Then yesterday it updated that it finally reached the shippers location one town over. Then today nothing..but it still shows it would be delivered today. So I called the shipping company and she just says it will be delivered tomorrow. Asked if I wanted a tracer placed on package I said yes... then she asked what's in the package. .... Am I concerned over nothing?

When you look at some of the design packaging used for e juice it's hard not to see that such irresponsible marketing would come to the attention of regulators.
First time I went in a B&M I was taken aback by the array of juice that was mimicking confectionery design.
Do juice manufacturers not think it might be a bad idea to use images that would appeal to children on their bottles .

This kind of thing strikes me as dumb.

From the statements in some previous posts, it seems there's a misconception that many/most of us who've been vaping for years...haven't emailed our legislators, haven't taken part in other calls for action, etc. Well, there comes a time when it becomes pretty apparent that what's been/being done by many of us...hasn't made a difference and most likely won't in the future!

So, IMO, stockpiling isn't just "giving up". Instead, it's doing what each of us chooses to do (precisely because of the above), to guarantee that we'll be able to continue vaping for years to come. I can't speak for others, but in the future I'll do what I'm able to, because of my stockpiling...as far as helping friends who still smoke, if/when they want to try vaping to help them quit.

Okay some black lady said "minorities are attracted to flavors?" LOL, I always knew secretly, inside, I was a black woman, so I must "thank" her for endorsing my infiltration into the black community, LOL.

I'm sure she'd call me an appropriator, but I just can't help loving flavors.

You fight as hard as you can (and I KNOW long term vapers that are doing, have done that. I do too, and email or sign petitions anywhere I can. I also know how grass roots advocacy fares, so I choose to stock up. I actually do BETTER with advocacy when I feel peaceful about things, secure in the knowledge that I will have what I need either way. If vaping doesn't make it all the way down the "demonization" trail, all that will mean is, I won't have to make any nic purchases for a LONG time, if ever. Nicotine has proven itself pretty stable under ideal storage conditions. I am merely buying "early" what I would have bought all along. It will be nice to get that all of the way OUT of the way, as nicotine isn't exactly cheap, either.

Everyone should do what they wish in this matter, but yes, we should also be thinking about vapers to come. I don't think the future looks bright, but sometimes things can change.

I wouldnt be concerned, beyond that the delay might let you run out of juice.

I’ve been sending emails and letters to my representatives since January when I first learned of these proposed regulations as well as submitting my story on the FDA public feedback site.

Remember they are OUR representatives. Its our responsibility to reach out to them and inform them of what is important to us as voters.

So if you haven’t done something yet then do so now.

Plus stock up.

I have been doing the same for years..... and continue.

If you are concerned about a flavor ban, then learn DIY. It is simple, cost effective, and flavorings will ALWAYS be available. Just maybe not vape branded. I make homemade chocolates and truffles, I am aware of many flavoring suppliers that are not vape related.

If you feel the need to stock up, your budget will be best served by stocking up on Nic. Nic is the vulnerable bottleneck to vaping as we choose. Nic is the one place where they can easily regulate and restrict quantity and potency. Without Nic then flavorings and hardware are a moot point, and you can be sure the 3 letter agencies are well aware of that.

Yes, unless you are needing flavors or there's a great deal... Which, I have stocked up on flavors a bit, but mainly due to those reasons (and wanting larger quantities on hand, just generally) most of my focus until I buy two more liters is going to be buying those during Easter. I really, really don't want to find myself nicotine-less as it is indeed true that flavorings are always going to be available, vapers are an enterprising sort and will learn where to buy them, and how to make them "work" in DIY.

Nicotine is a lot harder, and I have a feeling it will also come under scrutiny, although I'd have to say that the minority of vapers are DIY'ers. I'm glad I'm in that category, and I can't imagine others won't be heading that direction at the news (if they are at all informed).

I want all my nic before the axe falls, the prices rise, and then it becomes unavailable. Etc.

Exactly.
Body armor & a shield in battle. Go into a fight without defense and get hurt unless we're completely dominating. We're not that. Going into a fight prepared and we have a home to recover in with all limbs intact if all doesn't go well.

CYA & fight - not CYA and hide. I'm capable to do what I can. And I do.

I didn't get the latest call to action but I'm on the CASAA mailing list???
Anyone else?

In Europe you can add
"Where is the child safe cap and mechanism for pouring spill-free?"

And then we have this
View attachment 730499
20%, sweet as mammaries, about 2" tall easy to hide with totally not appealing-to-kids colors and flavors like
strawberry colada, magic mango, fig, bubble gum, coco biscuit, licorice, cherry-banana

Needless to say we downed those at 16yo (back then it was only fig).

Can't complain though, it doesn't look like smoking.
Mmmm loved Feigling!! When I was helping a buddy start up his bar we got cases of the little 2" bottles as a promotion and it was delicious.

Might have to take you up on the offer. I'm a bit far off from you but fed x can't promise a delivery date due to weather. I have two half 30ml bottles of 3mg left and I go through like 30 a day. I have some 0mg of store purchased juice I still had I'm trying to use to slow myself.

A lot of the countries where vaping is outlawed, they just classified liquid nicotine as a controlled poison .
Many countries with tight regulation are tobacco producing countries .

I actually ordered some 50/50@18mgs unflavored from Nic River that should be coming in tomorrow. I have been slowly tapering off the strength of my flavoring over time and I want to see how it does me.
