i wouldnt really bother with the 901....the 801 is nice for a cooler vape...some juices taste great from a 801...also...i just recetly tried the KR808 carftomizer and it is really nice!!! but my still alltime favoite vape/atomizer is the RN4081 and 401(exposed bridge)..thy both offer basically the same vape and they are just TRUCKS...they take any voltage..any juice...and just never stop...GREAT all arounder...thats my opinion...eeryone is different though..you might try the901 and love it...im pretty sure the 901 and KR808 carto have the same thread pattern...do if u want to try some new ones get an adaptor for a 901 and you can use it fr the 808 also :)

In the land of no hills and red dirt
There is also a difference in resistance.

LR 510's run around 1.4-1.6 ohms
Regular 510's are 2.2-2.4
801's are 3.4-3.6
901's are 3.6-3.8

And they do have different vaping characteristics. 801 are cooler, and some think they have more taste. 510's are the hottest, and have good TH. 901's are roughly an in between.

I agree with the 4081 comment, but they're not trucks; more like tanks. Too bad their cartridges are so small and comparatively hard to refill.

Do 801's actually run cooler than 901's or is it just the length of the atomizer chamber that allows it to cool? Moot really as the vapour is cool when it reaches you. The be112's are very nice, as far as 801 class atties go, not tried the sub version of an 801, I would imagine it is very similar to a 901 (don't know who makes the stub version, doesn't really appeal to me, heard about it through some supplier spam).

The 510 basically runs hotter, as everyone has said, but given that this is the day and age of custom resistance atomizers you can get 901's that run at 2.2 ohm, ala standard 510. Despite also having LR 901's and 510's myself, I haven't really taken any notice if they have different characteristics even though they have the same low resistance (~1.7ohm), all I know is they pump out the vapour and actually perform like I expected original e-cigs to do. The future, today.
