I've been searching for some good pics of the different GLV-2 connection options.

I'm currently using a KR808D-1 kit and I'm trying to decide if I want to go with the 901 connection or switch it up with a GLV-2 threaded for 510s. I know I can adapt my KR8 cartos and 901 attys, but I like to avoid adapters if possible.

I'm just trying to get an idea of how the attys and cartos will sit on the GLV-2.

Any help is greatly appreciated. :thumb:

Can anyone take some pics comparing a GLV-2 Mini and a GLV-2 5v to an eGo and/or a KR8?

I'm already sold. Just have to wait a bit because I already spent my monthly vaping budget on Bloog cartomizers, V4L juice, and a really nifty eGo USB PT kit. The eGo USB PT will be my first 510 device, seemed like a safe and affordable way to test the waters. :)

Been vaping on a standard KR8 kit for about a month and haven't had a single craving for an analog! It really is a miracle. And since it tastes so much better and I don't smell like cigarettes all the time I think I would have a really hard time switching back.

I did not know this either..... Thanks !
Doh! <slapping forehead>

I just learned that every GLV-2 is threaded for 510 attys and the 808 and 901 models come packed with an adapter. I guess that makes my decision easy.

keyzgirl, thanks for the reply. Looks like I'm headed into 510 territory. :)

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'm having problems:( My GLV2 is super-heating my V4L coolcarts (with very little effort on my part) to the point of burning them! I have tried several juices, taken very short, shallow hits and even pulsed the button, but the same thing keeps happening. I thought it would be near impossible to burn a Coolcart! Please help!

MsOceanC: you don't say what voltage you are using on your GLV2. I've got a 5v GLV2 and use only standard resistance 3.0 to 3.2 ohm 510 cartos on it. I've not had any problems. I don't know what the resistance is on the Coolcarts, but from the name, I would assume that they are fairly high resistance. But if you are vaping at 6v or higher, that could be the source of your problem.

We have 808 style cartos that have a 510 connection on them for when you use up your 808 stock. They work the same way as an 808, but they use a 510 threading..no adapters needed. Iv used the 3.0ohm on my mini before by accident ..took me a half hour to figure out what was wrong.

Give me a call MsOcaenC Lets see if we can get figure out whats wrong. 248-346-3205

Jay, I don't think I'll need to call ya cuz I figured out what the problem was, a few days after that post. You guys can officially call me the "village idiot" because I had put the batteries in backwards:shock: It wasn't until I came across the schematic diagram, on your website, that it dawned on me! Everything seems to be going smoothly now. I just have to get used to the fact that I'm going through juice alot quicker;)
