I recently purchased a Pico squeeze 2 second hand from someone who by all appearances took really good care of their mods and atomizers like I doubt this thing was used for more than a week. That being said I'm vaping at 34 Watts on a .35 coil with some Samsung 30T and at least half of the time that I press the fire button some warning comes up it's usually low battery but sometimes it's the atomizer warning. I'm getting kind of frustrated I got it for a great price along with another mod that works wonderfully so I'm not upset about that I think that the coral atomizer was worth the money I paid. But I would like to get it working I love the form factor and I look it up and it seems like this is a problem that happens all the time with this mod so simply buying another one isn't a very attractive concept right now. Is there something about this mod where you have to vape really high resistance or is there an update that can help this situation I've just never had this problem before. I've used other batteries I've used these batteries in other mods so there's something going on with the mod. If anyone's got any troubleshooting tips that I haven't thought of yet please share. I'd love nothing more than to get this working but it's not a huge loss if it doesn't. I just like the way it works when it works :)

No, I don't have to vape with mine at high resistance. I usually use a coil in the 0.3-0.4 ohm range for squonking.

Eleaf never released any firmware updates for the Squeeze 2. They all came with v1.00 installed. See: Eleaf electronic cigarette » Downloads (3rd row from bottom, far right). The only update they offered was to upload a custom logo and that is on the bottom of the product page. Eleaf electronic cigarette » Pico Squeeze 2

To me, it sounds like the firmware is wonky on yours. You've tried different known good batteries and RDA's so next would be installing Arctic Fox. That's what I would do if it was mine.

@AngeNZ, kindly posted all the info you need to get it running in Shiny.
Here: Shinyitis Support Group

I have AF installed on several mods. I would be happy to help if you need it. Just let me know. Arctic Fox is very much like Escribe for your DNA mod. :)

Well it seems like I've got it working but with limitations earlier I was at 40 watts and it was acting up but at 38 it works perfectly. I did try to download the arctic fox onto my computer so that I could put it on the mod and I don't know exactly what happened but my computer will not open it. I am so bad at these things I can do it with the DNA because it basically does itself but I am struggling. I'm actually probably okay with using it below 40 Watts don't usually go much over that with single batteries. But it still bothers me that that's happening because it shouldn't and I don't understand like newish (used maybe 8 hours total) fully charged 21700 30t should not be overworked on a .35 build at 40 watts to the point where it's triggering low battery. I guess I'll play around some more with the arctic fox thing see if I can get it working

Yeah I tried it again and I just don't know how to use this stuff at all like I can't get it into any sort of form that I understand how to use it doesn't open I can't open it on anything on my computer for some reason. It's trying to open it in media player this my only other option being paint LOL I don't really even know what it is. I'm pretty sure if I keep going I'm going to Brick the device so I'll just stay below 40 Watts. And the instructions may as well be written in Chinese cuz I don't understand what it's talking about. It's sad but I have absolute zero computer skills like I regularly will download something and I can't find it I don't know where it is I don't understand how things work

It is funny that you mentioned a Pico Squeeze 2 AvaOrchid. As I have 7 of them with 5 Coral 2 RDAs. I have one setup right now with a Demon Killer Alien V2 coil at 0.29Ω. Although I am vaping it at 25 watts. I just checked and I have Eleaf's AVB 21700 battery in there. Here let me crank it up to 100W. Works fine here. Here I also have a Samsung 30T and let me drop that in. Still works fine at 100W.

Do you have that boost enabled? As I remember playing around with that and I would get errors. Like the battery wasn't powerful enough. I might have been using one of those IMREN batteries at the time though.

Just had a proper look at the downloads available, you need to use NFE Tools to flash the .bin file.

If you're having issues extracting the NFE Tools .zip file, you can either use WinRar or 7zip.

Latest NFE Tools link.
[AF-12][RP-2] NFE Tools v190703

Latest Artic Fox Firmware.
[P12] ArcticFox 190624

Ok... I don't know exactly what you did, or tried, with Arctic Fox so here is how to install it.

1) Go here, NFE Tools Builds and download NFE Tools v190703. That is the application you need in order to install the AF firmware on your Squeeze 2. NFE Tools is also the application, like Escribe, you use for making changes to your mod.

2) Then download Arctic Fox 190624 firmware from here ArcticFox Builds That is the actual firmware you will upload to the Squeeze 2 using the application, NFE Tools, you downloaded first.

If you look at the Arctic Fox manual, section 3, it explains how to install the software (#1) and how to install the firmware (#2) on your Squeeze. I'm not much of a Windows person, all Macs here, but I do have Windows installed on one that I use from time to time.

ETA: I'm sure you know but... make sure your Squeeze 2 is connected (USB) and recognized by your PC before you try installing the firmware.

I run my Squeeze 2 @ .15 ohm and 40 watt using TC with both Stock FW (Didn't work to well) and with Arctic Fox (Works great for TC) and have no battery issues using 40T's & P42A's or different 18650's. You might want to try an old PC contact trick. Take a pencil eraser (pink or white) and clean the inside of the cap and also the "+" contact of the Squeeze 2. Also clean the threads of the cap and mod. Just a thought that might help.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I had this happen before on mods. The problem was cause by the the following...

- Dirty 510 on the mod.
- Battery too old with lots of voltage sag (which is probably due to high internal resistance)
- Board inside the mod had juice on it from juice leaking from the atomizer's 510 into the mod's 510 and subsequently into the mod and onto the board over time.

Other things to consider are...
- loose battery connections which may or may not be fixable.
- loose 510 on mod, which may or may not be fixable.
- You could just have a mod with a defective board, in which case there is no "fix".

Erm... what's Arctic Fox?

Got , my Pico Squeeze 2 with 0.16ohm coil, running at 47W. Tried the same coil at 60W, a bit too hot vape for me though. I also use 18650s in it at 47W with the same coil. No problems.

The only complain I have Is both the fire button and up and down buttons, up and down badly designed, fire button: sometimes if I press it in the wrong spot it doesn't fire, like it had a blind spot.

The 21700 I use is the one that came with it, AVB 4000mah and 30A. Works fine so far

I just wanted to say to everyone thank you so much for the help I'm working through the suggestions right now. Maybe I don't have a zip reader on my computer and maybe that's what the issue is. I didn't clean the 5-10 on the mod so that's something that I'm going to try and I don't want to jinx myself but for the last couple hours it hasn't done the thing and I've got it higher than 40 Watts I'm not sure if maybe I had fiddled with it and made something bad happen. Arctic fox is probably a lost cause for me as I know literally nothing about that aspect of computers and unlike Escribe it doesn't just load. However if this thing just keeps working that would be great. I'm worried about the arctic fox thing because I just don't know enough if I end up screwing something up I don't have any confidence that I'm going to be able to reload something that works.

While I have heard about ArcticFox for the past 5 years, I've never used it. But the Pico Squeeze 2 also sports a programmable LED light. I suppose with ArcticFox firmware that option would be gone, right?
IIRC, Arctic Fox also has the ability to adjust the lights (Color, off, etc.). Mine is presently only on the White light so I can tell the level of liquid quickly. What I can't remember is if this left over from the stock Firmware adjustment.

@PeterKay, Arctic Fox is aftermarket firmware that adds more functionality and customisation to certain mods. You can search the NFE Tools forums to find what's supported.

NFE Tools is the program that you can use to flash the Firmware to a mod, monitor and customise it.

@AvaOrchid, glad to hear it's behaving for the moment. Here's to hoping it will continues to do so.

Well overnight it kept working. So I'm not sure if maybe I just needed to clean the atomizer and the 510 or turning it off and then back on reset it to functionality but the only time that I got a low battery warning is when I legitimately had a low(ish) battery. Which is good because no matter how many times I try to figure out that Arctic Fox stuff I just can't figure out what to do with it once you get it downloaded into the file manager. It is the hardest to figure out saying that I have ever downloaded LOL there's like no user interface it's kind of frustrating me because I would really like to at least know how to do it but it's just a big list of things that have downloaded that don't appear to have any functionality to me.

Literally while I was writing this it started doing it again. :( I guess it can join The Centaurus as a bookend thank God this is nowhere close to my only mod and I really do like the coral 2 RDA so it's still a win
