Cool idea - I'll have to check that out.
I'll tell ya though - I'm getting seriously tight coils with that wire twister. You can keep some serious tension on the wire while you're wrapping the coil. Give about 135 degrees overturn for spring back on the last coil and you're done - nice and straight and no unwrapping.

Yes 1/16 which equals .0625" and .055". I also drilled mine out so I can also use a 5/64 drill bit.

this is what ive been looking for before i purchased a jig.. i think DZ needs to add these to his pins so that they stick out the same distance so we have some stability there and something to scrunch up against.. maybe he will make an edit to his production line. along with a 510 adapter to attach decks to. borrowed your picture for ref..

All it would need is a spacer, drill out to take the mandril, then you would have the base to push against, it would also be a retrofix, for anyone that's already got the DZ jig

DZ- thank you for your jig, but if ya ain't gonna make any more, i'm gonna start trashing the design and all the clones that have sprouted up recently.

Darkzero then I feel very lucky to have one and the only jumbo sized one! I use it constantly and I know without it would not be able to make any coils. I Thank You Sir and appreciate what you have done for your fellow vapors!
DZ I too feel lucky to own to own the original and a few beautiful buttons. thanks again and I hope your new projects bring hours of enjoyment.
Same here Deazy - the OG Deazy is a classic and owning one is the coil jig equivalent to owning a REO or a chalice.
