I currently use a provari with AW IMR 2000 mAh batteries from Super T Manufacturing. I need some new batteries, and they have been out of stock of the 2000 mAh for quite a while now. I read something a while ago about the Panasonic hybrid IMRs being good, but I can't find that thread.

Would these Panasonics work in a provari, and how do they compare to the AW IMRs as far as bbattery life and safety?

Would they charge okay in a trustfire TR-001?

TIA!

Description doesn't say if those are nipple-top. I would assume not, as the nipple-top ones I have from the recent co-op have a narrower top. The flat-top Pannies can be used in the Provari with a magnet spacer, from what I've read. They are good batteries. I use them in my DNA12 mod. I get roughly 14-16hrs runtime @ 9ish watts and ~4.5ml of nicquid through a bottomfeeder w/ RBA.

I have those Panasonic batteries for my VTube and Silver Bullet. They are the flat-top ones. They are good batteries.

I think Provape says NOT to use the flat-top ones with a magnet, and you can void your warranty if you do. Not sure why, but that's what it says and they are entitled to make their own rules.

Thanks! I just went ahead and ordered the ones from Super T that specifically stated they were button top. I'm in dire need as my AW IMRs are only lasting a few hours now. I hope it's just that they are getting old and not that there's a problem with my pv or charger.

Are you checking them off the charger with a multimeter to see what they read? Are you resting them between use and charge and charge and use cycles? Fast swaps between shorten the life of them.

Well I usually check them on my provari, until they started running shorter times. I checked them all on a mulitmeter last night and they all read between 4.1 and 4.15. They used to read at 4.2 when they were newer.

I have 5 in rotation. I charge when the provari blinks (3.5 v?) and when they are done I move them to the back of the rotation (keep them lined up in order in a plastic box). So they do not usually get used until a few days after they are charged.

3 of them are 6 months old and the other 2 are maybe 4 months old.

Same batteries I use on my provari, a battery lasts me 1 to 1 day and a half but of course it depends how much and how you're vaping. They will charge fine on a TR-001, same and only charger I have...just takes a long time to charge which is not a big deal for me.

i love your guts avatar! i have a wino puck tattooed on each of my hands. :p one panel from him lushing out, then passing out. i know this has nothing to do with batteries, but i had to point it out!
