painting drip tips!

so i couldnt find a super bright color that i liked anywhere so decided to paint one the color i want, the only problem is i didnt wana use paint because it smells chips and wears off, so i started to look elswhere. what i found is powder paint. its like powder coat but a different way of applying. heat up your drip tip, dip it in the powder and it actualy melts to it just like powder coat, it took a few tries to get it perfect but it wasnt to hard. in order to not get the powder inside the drip tip i twisted up paper towels and run it through the center, this stuff is super durable and looks perfect! the first few tries i didnt heat up the tip enough(i was heating it over a candle) and came out sorta powdery and didnt melt. in order to get it off i had to spray aircraft remover and bring it back to new. these pics dont even do justice on how awesome it actually looks!

It's used for fishing lures, a thermoplastic powder...I don't see anything about whether or not it is safe to put into your mouth...

not positive if its safe or not, but it has no odor and doesn't come off, so im okay with it, i could see the hazards if you where to have it inside the tip tho, but the inside is perfectly clean with no paint. i got it off ebay, but im sure you can get it anywhere on the internet, i was looking and they have candy colors, glow in the dark and lots of options, and you could swirl the colors by making layers of the powder when you apply it.
