Hello and welcome back for another review. This time I will be looking at the Oxbar X Pod juice SVOPP battery and 30k disposable pods. This is a really interesting device. The battery is 1100mah and has six adjustable wattage levels. The pods come in different flavors and slide onto the side of the battery to make contact. The SVOPP is draw activated and has a range of 11-30 watts. It has a digital display and makes use of a Type C charging port.

    INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the SVOPP is a little different from the normal pod or disposable. Going off of what I received, it appears that the battery and pod portions are sold separately. That way you can buy one battery and multiple flavors without having one unit where it is disposable after the liquid is used up. With the SVOPP, once the liquid pod is empty then you simply slide the liquid pod off and slide a new one on to the same battery. Oxbar is being truly innovative in a disposable market where other companies are just putting out the same old stuff while changing one or two things.

The packaging for the SVOPP, like I mentioned, has the battery in one box while the flavor portions are in separate boxes which allows the user to choose the color of the battery while trying different flavors. As you can see in the second picture below, I received the black battery and three different flavors. The flavors I received are Fruity Pebz, Jolly Blue Razz, and Strawberry Banana Dream. I am happy to see that Oxbar is sticking with the Pod Juice line of liquids for their pods. I have really enjoyed them in the past

Both the battery portion and flavor pods are shipped sealed in silver foil bags with notches so they are easily torn open. There is also a card enclosed with the flavors that lists the available flavors that can be purchased.

I think it’s really cool how the user can simply slide one flavor pod on or switch it for another. There are three plated contacts on both the battery and flavor pod. There is also an airflow port below the contacts that allows the airflow to pass through to the airflow control slider located on the bottom of the pod and to the battery to allow the sensor to activate the output since these are auto draw only as you would expect. Once the battery and pod are slid together then they are somewhat securely attached and I never had a problem where they slid apart accidentally.

The mouthpiece on these is a softer rubberized material and are very comfortable to use. The top of the battery has a lanyard loop although one was not included in the package. I personally don’t care for lanyards but that option is available for those that do like them.

One side of the SVOPP has the device name printed on the battery and some textured curved lines molded into the body of the pod. The opposite side has the SVOPP and Pod Juice names printed on the pod with the flavor name printed below. The battery portion has the display screen which is vibrant and there is a single function button. This button allows the user to change the output level between 11, 13, 15, 22, 26, or 30 watts. Simply push the button to cycle through the available ranges. The display shows a battery level indicator, battery percentage, and set wattage. There is a series of colored curved bars in the center that illuminate while the display is active.

    FINAL THOUGHTS:

Out of the disposables that I’ve tried, the Oxbar line of disposables with the Pod Juice flavors have been my favorites. I was very happy to have received the Fruity Pebz pod for the SVOPP. It is my favorite out of the ones I’ve tried. The Blue Razz would be my second favorite and third was the Strawberry Banana. I hadn’t tried the last one before. To me the banana flavor was candy like and not extremely up front with the strawberry not that noticeable for me. The blueberry is candy like also but the flavor is up front and very pleasant. The Pebz is sweet but just a really nice flavor. All three are mentholated and I could honestly do with a little bit less of it but overall, they are pleasant flavors. It’s just that the menthol starts to hurt my throat if I take too many puffs in a row. I guess you really shouldn’t chain vape these since the liquid contained inside the pods is 5% nicotine salts which equates to 50mg.

I personally liked each of the flavors with the airflow mostly closed for a nice somewhat tight MTL type vape and after trying the different levels, I stayed with all three flavors set at the 15 watt output level. This level on the 1.0 ohm mesh coils was a good fit for me. Much higher than that and the intensity of the menthol and vapor were a bit too much for me.

I’d like to thank Oxbar for sending the SVOPP samples so I could provide you with this review. I hope you enjoyed it. Also a bit thanks to the readers for checking out another one of my reviews. Below is a link to the website for your viewing pleasure.
