Oils/waxes vs. E-Juice? What's the difference?

Hey guys,

I recently started vaping with a blu starter kit but I want something now that can provide a bigger hit and can last longer. So I've been looking around and I've been attracted to the Cloud V vaporizer but I'm now confused. A lot of these vaporizers say they are meant for "oils/waxes only". Are e-juices considered an oil or no? I've been looking around sites like mistervapor and have found some great e-juices to buy but I'm not sure that the Cloud V will properly vape it. I've also looked at the Ego Starter kits as well but it's kind of the same thing.

So my big two questions I suppose are:
Are e-juices/e-liquids considered an oil? Does this mean they will work with any vaporizer that claims to vape oils?
Is there any inherent differences between an e-cigarette and a vaporizer or is it just lingo semantics?

Thanks a lot guys!

Do you have a link for this Cloud V vaporizer? Generally I'd say stick to known eliquids. There is such a thing as a gel that's been on the fringes for a while, but not many people use it. If your dealing with a chinese website sometimes they will call eliquid oil or tar or some other such odd name.

Genearally no, oils are not eliquid.
There is basically no difference between an ecig and a vaporizer for our purposes, with that in mind, there are vaporizers that are used to vaporize things we don't discuss here, so you need to be aware of that.

Here's a link to the Cloud:

Okay, so if I'm looking for a vaporizer/e-cig that can utilize nicotine e-juices, what would you guys suggest to someone who's fairly new to vaping? I've heard good things about the eGo C twist and I was thinking of possibly picking up one of their starter kits. The eGo does e-juices, right?

Most liquid are not made from oils or waxes, it's been debated a lot if oil is ok to vape or not, no consensus has been reached, some do vape oils but others like me just stay away from it, just in case.

Yes the ego-C twist is a good device, can't go wrong with it, buy it, use it then you'll know what you need next :)

Okay, so I think I'll go with the eGo, but I can't seem to find a starter kit with the twist. I've also found another site that is about $15 cheaper.

Joyetech eGo-C Starter Kit - Vape Pens - By Type - All Vaporizers

Should I use that site or would you guys recommend I just stick with Joyetech's official site?

Joyetech eGo-C Starter Kits

Either way, it looks like I'd have to buy one of the adjustable "twist" batteries seperately for another $30 or so. Thanks so much guys! So far, you've been a huge help! Now I just need to decide what site to buy it from and where I should get the e-juices from. It looks like Joyetech does sell their own juices but I'm not sure if they're any good.

Okay that's awesome! Now should I add anything to the starter kit? Is it worth the extra $5 to go from a 650mAh battery to a 1000mAh battery?

Also, this is the REAL Joyetech eGo C Twist right? The reason I ask is because I know a lot of sites that try to sell off knock-off brands.

One word of caution if you're old and your glasses get scratched and smudged: the Ego Spinner is much easier to read than the Ego Twist if you can't see very well. But if you want the Twist for the lower price, you can make up for it with nail-polish dots of different colors on the bottom so you can recognize the numbers w/o a microscope.

imo a 1000 mAh battery is better because it will last longer between recharges, however your ecig will be a bit bigger so in the end you're the one to decide on what you prefer.

most knock-off brands today are good, I wouldn't worry much about this

^Scratch that, it looks like it is a knock off brand. I'm curious though, what are you guys thoughts on the eVic? It looks really sleek and the features are pretty damn cool! It allows voltage adjustment from 3 - 5v which, if I recall, is better than the Twist. Have you guys had experience with the eVic? If so, would you recommend the starter kit?
