Hey builders! Yesterday morning was particularly awesome for me, because my authentic Asmodus rda was in my mailbox! :D Now it may sound like I'm over-exaggerating or gushing quite extensively, but that's because I've been stalking this thing since it was a rumor! This rda seemed like it was just PERFECT for my individual vaping preferences, and now I've found out it truly is!

Here's an AWESOME review of it, and a glimpse of it from my man Todd:

<font size="3"><span style="color:#008080;"><strong><u>

The two biggest and most obvious advantages for me is the fact that it's 30mm (will fit on my favorite 26650 mechanicals (the mutant, and copper 2six mod)), and has the ingenious T-post design (dual positive posts, so each coil leg has it's own spot). For someone who's developed "Vaper's O.C.D." (you know who you are :p), this thing is an absolute dream come true for a few reasons:

~ It will sit flush on my rarely sized 30mm 26650 mechanical mods.
~ Each wire connection has it's own individual (big 2mm!) spot, for even distribution of current/power, and the ability to easily do super neat builds.
~ It's airflow control sleeve has a small screw that will lock your airflow in place, also with a finger friendly gear-shaped top cap for easy dripping.
~ Decently large (will be drilled later hehe) adjustable airflow, with either quad, or dual coil configuration (which, again, won't move with top cap!).
~ A borderline RIDICULOUSLY deep drip-well. (I feel much better having a nice bowl under my coils, rather than worrying if it's going to leak.)
~ High quality, super-thick TANK-like design. (The negative posts are part of the deck, the center T-post is a massive thick rectangle, which is one of the key features to me, I love a deck that's solid, I've broken/spun sooo many posts because I'm rough on them, the whole atty is crazy heavy!)
~ Comes with a full set of spare post screws (which are beefy phillips heads!), and a set of new red heat-resistant O-rings as well.

Aside from all of these benefits, there's a certain "x-factor" that I get when vaping this thing, it's just 100% satisfying, and bullet-proof for my personal vaping needs. It's the first RDA other than the Tobh Atty in which I've literally had no worries, granted I've only used it for 2 days, but these past 2 days have been my absolute vaping utopia :). The only change I've made to it was drilling the airflow holes slightly wider, and it hasn't let me down, it's so darn versatile it's incredible! I can build some perfect large gauge coils, slip them in easily and with room to spare, easily tighten them down with the huge "normal sized" phillips head screws (without needing a baby screwdriver lol :p), and I KNOW they won't back out (the posts aren't hollow, so it doesn't bend the wires/snap them whenever I really tighten them down, I can basically squish the leads and keep my coils perfect, one of my favorite characteristics of building with this beauty!). Now that the coils are permanently set in stone, wicking isn't a big deal because you really can't put too much cotton in this beast, I've just been wicking through the coils with really long tails, and putting a big'ol fluffy cloud beneath them, once you fill it with 3 or 4 FULL DROPPERS it's basically a "pool" of e-liquid directly below your coils keeping them saturated. Once the deck is locked down, I can then set my airflow ONCE until the next time I build, and once I have it absolutely where I want it, I can lock it in place with the little grub-screw it comes with, I can't tell you guys how satisfying this feels to me, because it locks everything exactly how I want it, even when I roughly twist off the top cap to look at my build and/or drip a few droppers, it never moves. This also comes in handy when unscrewing the atty from a mod as well, I can grab the airflow control sleeve, and twist as hard as I need to to get it off the mod! Literally the only con I can think of is the fact that I go through so much juice so easily with the Asmodus lol! Since it has really, really large airflow (that I can decrease), and a relatively reduced chamber, I can make the insane clouds that I want mostly, as well as the dense, warm flavor that comes with it. I think the thick walls also keep it much cooler than most of my atty's I've tried, which correlates with the fact that my vapes feel much warmer too. It's a great insulator, this monster is like a VAPE KILN!

If you like really big vapor, and great flavor (It's REALLY good flavor by my standards, but I will admit, it's not quite as good as the Magma. (which is my favorite "flavor atty" I've tried thus far.)), coupled with a wide range of capability, and just really high quality machining, I can't recommend the Asmodus RDA more highly! It may just be perfect for "me", so take this review with a grain of salt, but if your tastes are anything like mine, I guarantee you'll absolutely LOVE IT! I haven't been this happy with a dripper since I went from the Trident to the Brass Monkee (the Trident is good, don't get me wrong, I love it too :D).

I got mine from here for $120, which may seem steep, but you get quite the huge chunk of well-engineered metal! (I've had 22mm that cost more!)

Asmodus 26650 RDA

ALSO, there's now a clone of it!
(Kinda wish I saw that first, but I don't regret ANYTHING! I would've ended up buying the O.G. if the clone is anything like it!) I don't know anything about the clone, however it appears to be of decent quality, and it's one HELL of a price! ($19.99!) Sounds like a good deal to me, especially if you just want to try it out, although I'm like a pig in heavenly slop with this original, I'm thinking about buying a clone as my "guinea pig" for drilling patterns. Here's where to find it below!

What do you guys think of it? Have any of you tried the clone or authentic? I hope this helped inform someone, I can't recommend it more if your looking for a 30mm atty, truly in a class of it's own.

Vape on y'all! Have a good one!

Very nice. I may have to jump on that clone and make it a bottom feeder for my Reo.

That's an AWESOME idea Circa, with such a huge drip well I wonder if a smaller bottle could handle it though! :p Seriously that's a cool idea though, I think it'd be alot easier with the thick T-post too.

This bad-boy can hold ALOTTA JUICE though, even with a liberal amount of cotton wicking in the well, I measured out *3.5 ml's!!!* It truly feels like cloud-chasing with a tank! I've never been able to fill up the drip well and vape for a solid 8-10 minutes until this thing showed up :D. When there's hardly any cotton it can hold a whopping 4 ml's of e-liquid, which is about 5-7 full glass droppers.

I've begun to just take the top off and POUR into the well now , forget dripping, start pouring, get on my level! :p I knew it was big from the pictures, but I had no idea it could hold almost as much as the kayfun!

And for $20 you can't beat that price, I ordered one just last night, because for 20, I won't even care if it kinda sucks. I doubt it will though, it's a pretty solid design, not much can go wrong with it. I think my clone is going to be a drilling frankenstein, I still haven't thought of how to drill it, but I'm thinking a cyclops style slot similar to the stillare, only wider.

Post pics of it on your reo if you get it dude! I bet it'd look sick on a box!

Nice write up. Looks like a solid atty. Digging the positive post.

Thanks man! And yeah, easily my favorite part about it! Tightening down your coils is the nicest experience in the world with this thang, as I said in the post none of the posts are hollow, so you don't get that annoying wire bending or snapping, it just mashes the leads into a flat surface (kinda like the immortalizer if your familiar with it).

I'm definitely getting one for my Super T ! :)

Oh man Jimi, forget you I'm so jealous! :p An asmodus and the 26650 Super-T!? I bet that'll look sexy!!!

~ I'm debating getting a Congestus mod (or the BFM), so I can stack some Sony VT's and take advantage off all that room! I think the asmodus, combined with 8.4volts, and 50 continuous amps would be my vaping heaven!!! :D

nice man, im waiting on my plume veil's to turn up, they have centre post like that. whats the ceiling of the cap like, is it concave like tobh or?

Hey slippy, SO sorry I missed this post bro! I passed OUT, I had some drinks with some friends earlier, and I fell asleep before I hit the mattress lol. :)

And yeah buddy! It's not a really steep concave like the Magma or Tobh, but it's got a shallow slant. I was thinking the same thing before I bought it and couldn't find a picture anywhere! lol

Did you get your plume veils yet brother? You should let me know how you like'em man! :D Here's Todd's review of it below, and about 5:04 is where you can see a glimpse of the top-cap. He starts with the close up on the deck, and everything at 2:00.

Looks great tree!

I don't have any 26650 mods so I checked their site for an 18650 version of the Asmodus and unfortunately, it doesn't have the T pos post. I really like that feature on my Plume Veil.

Yeah man, I saw that recently myself, that's pretty cool that they have a shrunken version though! :D I never thought they'd be shrinking atty's as well as making them bigger . I LOVE that they're starting that though, hopefully there will be a big/small version of everything one day :p. Although it doesn't have the awesome T-post, it still looks like a pretty good atty! I love the ease (and especially tidy-ness) of the dual post, but I don't think I'd miss it TOO much if the asmodus didn't have it, as long as it's sturdy is really all I care about. My favorite part about it though is that it's even current distribution, you don't have to worry about 2 leads laying over top of one another, or one preventing the other from a good connection. Plus I can build super long coils now, and just use the next slot away from the negative.

That reminded me, I've always wanted to see a 26650'd Atomic clone, how epic would that be?! Or even just a 22mm atomic to make it sit flush. I've always loved that atty but I don't like how small it is. Love the flavor and heat, but it can't hold any juice!

no worries Phead :D that atty looks awsome sat on your mod ;)

Thanks brother :D (your inbox is full by the way :p). I like how industrial it looks with the gear shaped cap, it's not trying to be "pretty", it just looks ready for business. I just got the clone in this morning too! It's just as awesome, it's identical to EVERYTHING, the only difference is the o-rings are black instead of red lol. The only minor gripe I have with it, and it's not a huge deal at all, is that the airfllow holes are like 2 human hairs to low, I mean it doesn't even impede airflow, I'm just going into picky mode with that. It's so minor that you have to mash your eyeball against it to see the deck rim just barely at a certain angle, but I noticed it, amazing quality. though

Do you think the 30mm would make a box mod like the IPV2 too top heavy? Also would anyone be willing to post a close up? Its hard to tell if it has wells like the magma or just high walls.
Edit: Just bought it, pretty excited, should be here monday

Hey brother, sorry I didn't see this in time, I'm sure you already figured out the walls are just super high. It's one big massive well otherwise, holds almost as much as a kayfun and it vapes the juice at about 1ml per freakin' pull! (with my drilled airflow).
