Hm...Wicking doesn't seem to be a big issue here.. I've done it as said but the problems remain.. :/
It is slightly better but not a lot
I suggest you try using only 6 or 7 wraps of your wire keeping them spaced slightly and not touching. Try this and see how it works. Start at 10 watts and go up as needed.

Ok did it. Reads .78 Ohm. Any suggestion on wattage?

18 W, steam and flavor almost perfect. Thx guys.. :)

Only the vape seems to be very hot, not sure if its normal?

EDIT: the guys at vape shop told me I shouldn't vape below 1.0 Ohm, because it's MTL; but it seems to me that the flavor and the overall quality seem to be better at sub ohm vaping. Opinions? Think that confused me, because I always tried to be in the range at 1.1 to 1.6

It's a myth mtl vaping has to be above 1 ohm.

I've been mtl vaping for the past year using a ss316l 28 gauge 2.5mm id 5 wrap spaced coil at 0.48 ohms in my rtas. Brilliant flavour, plenty of vapor even at 15 - 17 watts.

I'm not too worried about vapor, more into how it vapes and flavour.

Just try different things, and go by the flavour, not the number :thumb:

Ouch, it could be my eyes, or your cotton are not inserted in the holes? 0.78 Ohms, I guess 13 to 16 watts will be alright. And Open up the airflow... take a picture of your airflow please? I thought I read here or somewhere that there were issues where this atty that came without holes? That's manufacturing defects. I am sorry if that will be your case. You need to return the kit or get a new one. But show us first before anything else.

Cross quote from @Shawn Hoefer Top Air RTA thread
The images here will show you how to do this

This is tiny compared to the Ammit I wrote about last week. They're the same diameter, but the Engine is a mere 43 mm tall - including the drip tip and 510. Where the Ammit holds 4 ml, this wee beasty holds 2 ml. It also has a smaller, thinner, quarter-turn top cap and bigger fill ports.

The deck on this is pretty typical for a single coil... two posts with screws on top to trap the wire. No post holes here. But, there are notches to bend the wire back into to avoid the tails shorting out in the chimney. Note that the air on this comes.from one tiny hole under the coil only rather than three (bottom and sides) like the Ammit.

The wicking channels are the same though.

It will easily handle a 3 mm coil with the cotton brushed out, our a 2.5 mm coil without too much cotton combing.

To be honest, I wish I had gotten a little closer to the air with this build...

Building is really easy though. Just one tip... install one leg and tighten the screw down, then - with the screw on the opposite side loosened up a bit - slide the other leg over the post and under the screw. Make sure you end the leg back into the slot to clip. Even the tightest of cuts using my wire nippers left enough of a leg to cause it to short out... Straighten the coil after tightening, and you're good to go... well, after wicking and priming LOL.

As with most all modern top air tanks, this one channels the air through a double walled chimney...

The air comes in one both sides through one of three tiny holes. At a guess, I'd say they were 0.8mm, 1.5mm and 2mm. Since I bought a black tank, it ain't easy to photograph the air holes, but...

All the disclaimers I wrote about the Ammit apply here... I'm not a dedicated MTL vaper and yada-yada blah blahzitty blah...

That said, this is smoother than the Ammit, and I think I like it a bit more. On the other hand, it holds half the e-liquid. On the other other hand, the Engine MTL is easier to fill.

Long and short: if you want capacity, get the Ammit. If you want a slightly smoother vape, get the Engine. If you want variety, get one of each :) I honestly don't think you can go Terribly wrong with either.

Not much faith when supply a drip tip that is more designed for DL than MTL, and 2 mil kills it for me, even MTLing 2 mil is to little for me.
The drip tip is large on the outside, but it's small on the inside. It works for MTL.

As to the 2 ml? Yeah, it's a little small, but I'm finding it lasts me nearly a full day with the build I'm running.

    The airflow's ok :)
And cotton is inserted all the way don't worry.. Maybe the picture made it look like it's not..
Fully adjustable, it came with holes.. Maybe the first series had it wrong o_O

Anyway it's works great now... Adjusting it and vaping at 15-18W range, and with the steam and flavor it is as it should have been..
Only sometime, like every 5th or 10th puff mi liquid seems to boil a bit and enter my mouth.. Perhaps because I seems to be chain vaping? Seems to be a bad habit I still have, but I'm working on it xD

I don't know if it's the same, but I have that issue too, but on all of my attys... And I don't personally call that an issue. When I use them for a while, juice seems to collect inside the drip tips like condensation, then when I vape, droplets of juice enter my mouth. It's annoying at that point so I have some tissue in my back pocket to wipe the inside of my drip tips. Not sure if anyone else have that...

The OBS MTL tank have a very small bore and when the juice starts collecting in it, it blocks the output holes and when I vape, the juice collected is the first to hit my tongue before the vapors. Are we talking about the same thing?

    Yep that's the thing.
Temp seems to be ok and then at some point it just boils. Later it's back to normal.

Also I took a new mouthpiece, the tighter one, bc the factory one is just strange and it seems to have gotten worse so I changed it back to original

Hmm... interesting. Don't worry mate, I have a berserker coming in a few days... I'll tag you if it's any better for MTL. Cheers!
