Not sure if I got the right sub forum a question about a Vendor

Hi,
I just tried to place an order with a e-juice supplier in Israel I proceeded to the checkout and paid by Credit Card using PayPal.
I got a very strange reply from PayPal which I have never seen before. The reply was: "Your payment is under review and we will contact you within 72 hours." This is for our customer protection?????

Has anyone ever seen this before and which customer are they protecting, me or the vendor. I have purchased heaps of juice from overseas and have most of the time paid by C.C. either direct or via Pay Pal. Never have I encountered this sort of reply. I know my C.C. is not maxed out as I have recently paid it off.

That only applies for us in the US with US vendors. Paypal is fine for ecigs in other countries.

That is totally correct, only the USA vendors are prohibited from using PAYPAL for e-cig products. I had this discussion with a few USA vendors as I wanted to buy from them.....Western Union charges and freight costs prevented me. A lot of USA vendors will not ship overseas just for this very reason which is a pity because some of them have real good gear. To me this smells of depravation of free trade by the eBay and PayPal nannies. As stated I have used PayPal in my country for similar purchases and also from N.Zealand, India and China. I think you our American friends did some serious .... kicking with eBay and PayPal. They are depriving of your liberty to trade where you wish.
