Not much luck

Ok so its been nearly 4 weeks since i started vaping and im still not having much luck with flavours and strengths!

I started out on 18mg and found it 'ok' so stayed with it, well recently im finding it has no TH at all and my flavours are pretty bad (DIY Mixing with what little fluids i do have!)

I got a bottle of 24mg RY4 and its good in a tank/atty but god awful in a CE3! lol so thats out the window, but the TH was good, better than 18mg.

I have on order and waiting for delivery of some 36mg unflavoured PG, menthol flavour and some virginia flavour. I also have some hazelnut flavour and TW tobacco flavour. Loads of PG/VG liquid to.

Can anyone suggest/reccomend a recipe that i could try? That will have a good TH and at least some barable flavour!
I think ive wasted more than ive used over the last 4 weeks lol so trying now to get something i will stick with.

I am also after some caramel flavour and fruit flavours, any suggestions? Im craving an analog and need a fix of something that tastes like tobacco/cig and has good TH. Will a menthol mix do this do you think?

I like Pineapple, Pina Colada for fruity DIY but them I also like peanut butter. It's all up to your taste. Try as many as you can afford. The DIY Ry4 I have tried really taste bad. Coffee flavors are usually strong for DIY. It's just something ya need to experiment with. 36 ml nicotine in PG is kinda weak IMO. I use 60 mg nic in PG. This way I don't have to mix as much and thus more dilute my end product. Stronger nic will give you a better TH, so going from 18 to 24 was a good idea.. some juices like Cinnamon can give you more of a TH. I use the juice-me up juice calculator to mix my DIY stuff. Sometimes this only gets me close to the taste and TH I want and I have to adjust by adding extra drops of either PG, VG, nicotine of flavoring.

I have not found any DIY stuff to be as good - taste wise as professional pre mixed juices. I like Wyatt Earp from freedomsmokeusa. Its a tobacco flavor but it doesn't really taste like tobacco.. its got a yummy sweet and spicy flavor. It gives good Th at 24 mg. Get a small 10 ml bottle to try for 6 bucks ( plus they always charge 5 shipping I think.) This was my go to juice to simulate a cigarette before cigs were out of my system for good. Your results may vary. Ya just have to keep trying stuff in different combinations til you find what works best for you.

It happens, thanks for the reply and youve made some good points.

I am still quite new to all this and i am still learning so its all good im just getting annoyed @ wasting money and time lol i think ill stick toward the caramel/tobacco flavours since ive liked these from the start!

Also ive heard that menthol will save a lot of flavours, is this true?

I'm just wondering if you've been successful with other people's juices to fill this need, prior to the DIY stuff? For me, a higher mg will cut cravings but I can only vape a small amount of it @36; but I can vape 24mg all day. What type of analog were you smoking before vaping? I'm only asking these questions due to my own questing lol. I've been searching for close to a camel because that seems to help satisfy my own urges---so maybe something close to what you smoked might help with those must have moments?

I had a hell of a time finding the right juice for me. 15mg Vermillion River Kentucky Premium Blends, Applewood in particular, is perfect for me. Applewood isn't your average apple tasting juice all of their Kentucky blends have a maple-ish flavor and the way it mixes with the apple is pure heaven.
