Non-candy Orange

Got a free sample with an order of CE3s (Vapors Choice) and the orange is great. It's an orange peel flavor, and I know that may sound undesirable to some, the flavor nails it. Not candy at all. Not a bit of sweetness.

Anyone know what brand this is?

I have not tried that particular juice but I do use Flavour Art Orange and it is the most realistic orange that I have tried to date.

I only got his stuff as a free sample. I find his prices too high for the quality of his juice, and besides, I like the DIY stuff.

Mixing the little sample of orange with different stuff has reinforced the proverb that I once got from an installation manual for some electronic thing. "Not all combinations make sense."

Ecto Cooler from flavor Went has a nice orange peelish aftertaste. It could be one of the ingredients.

Does the juice have a yellowish tint? Ecto Cooler seems to add a yellow/orangeish tint to my juices.

The Flavor Apprentice has an orange that is true extract from oranges ( peel i think) its the most true to orange i can find.... although i'm looking for a good "artificial" orange flavor if anyone has any suggestions.

I've read that Tasty Puff is very candy like. I think, if memory serves, that it and their chocolate were good flavors.

I've often wondered what would happen if I just grated a little fresh orange peel, dropped some into a bottle of my DIY unflavored juice and let it steep a while. I might try that next time I make up a batch of juice.
