Hello everyone,

I am new in Mech mods, however I have done a lot of my homework on safety and instructions about using mech mods, so no much worries here...

I would like to purchase parallel mech mod and noisy cricket v2 became an option for me, is it "hard hitting" enough? I would like to vape around 0.08-0.09Ohms and I am not choosing single battery mech mods because (im not 100% sure...) voltage drops in their construction, while parallel have 4.2V+4.2V which eliminates any "bad" effect from voltage drop, am I right? Or would single mech mod such as broadside/admiral/rogue usa be better than noisy cricket v2 in "hard hitting"?

Thanks)

The NC 2-25 is a great device at a great price, I use mine every day.

"Hard hitting" is quite subjective, but the voltage drop in the NC2 is fairly low.
If you are going to vape at 0.08-0.09 Ohms then a dual battery mod would be required rather than a single 18650. This is about not dangerously over-taxing batteries, not voltage drop.

Parallel mode is useful when using very low resistance coils as this provides the combined amp pool of both batteries. Eg. If the batteries have a 20 amp CDR then you will have around a 40 amp pool to work with.

The higher the current levels in your setup, the higher the voltage drop will be.
If you are trying to mitigate the "bad effects" of voltage drop a series battery configuration will be more efficient. This doubles your voltage (CDR and mAh remain the same), two fully charged 18650s is about 8.4 volts. Because you have twice the voltage you will need to build much higher resistance coils, otherwise your power levels will be off the chart. I wouldn't go below 0.5 ohms
8.4 x 8.4 / 0.5 = 141 watts total ~ 17 amps per battery

I tend to use my NC2 in voltage regulation mode most of the time.

Thanks, if I will regulate voltage to 3.7V will it give exactly 3.7V to the atty?

The voltage wheel is not specific, so it's a bit of a guess as to what you are sending without measuring it at the atty. Max 6 volts, min 2 volts. I used a 0.5 ohm coil as this was going to give me roughly the range of wattage I was aiming for around the middle of the setting dial. Then I adjusted to taste.
