If you guys ever let me in, I'd live in San Francisco. (My visits have included LA, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Boulder, Denver, Providence, Newport, Boston, New York, Orlando, Miami and the Keys).

Tell you what though - there's a huge con in the opening credits of the Streets of San Francisco. I thought that double-decker was the Golden Gate bridge for decades...

I just checked Target's website and took a look at their njoy stock... Under additional info it says: • You may return this item to any Target store.
So if you buy it online from Target you can return it in store. It's probably for only returns, not replacement parts though.

Whicxh means you can probably return it for an exchange which would be fine if one isn't working- but they don't state how long or if the item is used or not?

This is still an amazing gamble. Kudos to njoy for getting e-cigs into a mainstream store, even if it's just catalog sales at the moment. Let the word go forth ... we won't be a secret much longer.

Do I hear Ruyan chatting with Neimann-Marcus? GreenCig dealing with Sharper Image? E-Cig (shudder) talking with Wal-Mart? Can Blue Lites save K-Mart?

I agree TB. This could hurt us... but could also help us quite a bit.
I like how you teamed E-Cig with Wal Mart :p

You know Sharper Image seems like a place that would carry these. They carry a lot of technology that is new and not mainstream yet. Technology that isn't quite perfected.

"Sharper Image brand E-Cig. Healthy smoking, and filters your air via ionization! Our e-cigs expel ozone that will purify your air... Our LEDs come in 13 different colors!" :D

Interestingly enough there has been recent news about Sharper Image. They are no longer a retailer. They filed bankruptcy earlier this year (done in at least partly by the Ionic Breeze) and the Sharper Image brand name has been purchased by some liquidator companies. The brand name is going to be licensed for products that will be sold by other retailers. So rather than a Sharper Image store selling the Njoy, you might see Brookstone selling the Sharper Image Electronic Cigarette.

I knew about the bankruptcy, but used the name because all us aging yuppies enjoyed flipping through their catalogs or visiting a store in Hyde Park (in Florida). But I didn't know they'd sold the name! Yikes. A Sharper Image Electronic Cigarette? Could fly.

Anybody remember flipping through Edmond Scientific catalogs? J.C. Whitney catalogs? Honest Charley catalogs? ;)

Hi Gang:

The price for the NPRO kit is the same as for the pen-style kit. The NPRO will not be up on Njoy's Web site for another two weeks, but if you really want to get your hands on it now, go ahead and place your order for a pen-style. Once you get your Order No., respond to Jim that you would like to change the order to an NPRO. If you use the coupon code Smokey (case-sensitive), you will get 20% off, as usual. And, yes, parts are still warrantied for one year!!!!

Marian

Here's the chronological order of events.

I ordered. Used Smokey for the discount. Didn't work and no discount.

I emailed to say the discount didn't work and I wanted the discount and to change the order to an NPRO.

One hour later, I emailed to completely cancel the order after reading more postings here.

Immediately I got an email confirming that the order was cancelled. I emailed back to thank them and immediately received a response "you're welcome"

so the order was cancelled and confirmed twice in a few hours.

Two days later I get an email from Jim saying that the NPRO is not available, my original order has already been shipped, and to enjoy my new NJOY.

I wrote back explaining that the cancellation was within a few hours of the order and the cancellation was confirmed.

It's been a couple of days and I have received no response.

Not pleased. Personally I think with all this target and new products and other stuff they've just gotten greedy and bit too big for their britches. Which means, of course, that the customer is not nearly as important anymore. And why should we be? Now they don't have to replace bad parts instead people just take it back to target for a refund (no replacement).

Makes no sense to me.

I just checked on the njoy site and the code still seems to work ok. Did you enter it in the right place?

Njoy got some communications mixed up with me too, though it wasn't a big deal. About a week after I'd receiver a new atomizer and sent the old one back, one of them (Mark, I believe) emailed me to say that a new one was on the way. I guess he just got mixed up and acted on an old email or something.

Anyway, it was no big deal, and all my other dealings with them have been superb. It'll be interesting the next time a battery or an atomizer goes out to see if they still respond as promptly now that they've got this fancy-pants Target deal going on.

yes I used the right place and the capital S.

They offered to give me the discount on my next order of cartridges but not on the order I already made, which I had alraedy cancelled and they sent anyway.

When you receive it, DO NOT OPEN the package, just refuse it and sent it right back.

I do not know if they will charge you for shipping, but at least you do not have to pay for return shipping cost.
