Since vaping, I've always used 24ml nicotine strength in my Evod Twist. I've always believed that this will give me more vapour while using the Evod. Is this right?

I'd drop down nicotine strength but just wanted to check this first. I also think that anything less than 24ml wouldn't give me a good throat hit. Still learning on how to get this right.

Vapor and flavor is based upon the VG, not the nicotine strength...throat hit is based upon the PG, not the nicotine strength...nicotine strength is only to satisfy your bodys use of nicotine from smoking tobacco cigarettes (analogs)..a Marborolo Red = 18mg (medium)...a Light cig = 12 mg

I myself prefer a 65PG/35VG or even a 50/50...U get plenty of vaper out of a 30-35 VG...and a great throat hit (TH) from a 65-70 PG

Vegetable Glycerin (VG) e-liquid is a thick, a little sweet liquid. VG e-liquid produces luscious clouds of vapor. VG e-liquid also imparts a sweeter taste to your liquid.

Propylene Glycol (PG) e-liquid is a much thinner liquid. PG e-liquid produces more of a “throat hit” than VG e-liquid does, which simulates the feel of smoking better. PG e-liquid also has a higher rate of sensitivity for some people, meaning that some people just can’t use PG in their vape.

PG e-liquid tends to give you a better throat hit and a lot more flavor. VG e-liquid on the other hand, allows your atomizer to produce a lot more vapor. Now, VG e-liquid is a thicker and more sticky fluid, and although most people do not show signs of allergy with VG, there are minority groups who complain about having phlegm buildup in their throats. The more VG e-liquid you use, the less of a throat hit you’re going to get – that’s the general idea.

60%/40% mix of VG and PG in your e-liquid can produce great vapor and more flavor. If you like, you can tend to use mix of both PG and VG in particular ratios, such as 70%VG/30%PG. This is the optimum ratio for most each uses as it provides a nice throw hit, good flavor as well as tons of vapor production.

Thanks for the explanation here szot. I'm so embarrassed as I didn't know this. I've just been buying my liquids, etc, and vaping. I use two liquids called Gold Ducat and Devil's blood a lot. I've just checked the PG/VG content but it doesn't give me any ratios so I've no idea how much of both are in the liquid itself. I've no idea on how to find out as I've looked on the website and it doesn't tell me what there is in the liquid itself. It does give the nicotine strength but that's it.

Is there anyway I can find out what these liquids contain? I love the nicotine based flavours the most. I've found that many flavours such as fruit have me gagging sometimes and my throat feels like it's closing up. I'm so limited right now because I don't know what to buy. I'm learning, and have learned more from your post but I've got the impression I'm not enjoying it as I should.

I buy from E Cigarette | Buy Electronic Cigarettes | E Juice - Mt Baker Vapor and select my own PG/VG ratio and nicotine strength...and they are the cheapest and fastest delivery on the net and an ECF supported site..and get 10% off with coupon code "vaporfrombaker" and get a free 15ML sample of your choice with every order over $15, just enter it in the comments section of the order....

any good website will tell U the PG/VG ratio....and U can simply ask them...many are 50/50 if its not posted..

BTW..I believe there is a UK sub forums here that U can read and get some UK sites to buy from and no worries about Customs or fees..

I'll try this one too..

I agree , throat hit is more dependent on Nicotine strenght than Pg/vg ratio. I once tried to vape the same blend PG/VG with 0% nic and then 6%, 12% , 24% nicotine. There was almost no throat hit with Cero nic, but you could feel it with 6% nic and very strong throat hit with 24% nic.

Thanks everyone. Sorry Robino1, thought I'd put the thread in the right section. Szot, the link's great but unfortunately I'm in the UK. I will see if I can find an English supplier though. On first look, I couldn't see one but I may have overlooked it. I shall also email the vendor Glointhedark to see if they can give me the ratios. It's a popular and good site I've got the liquids from. If they don't give me the ratios, I'll look elsewhere.

I now understand the nicotine strengths too. Never thought of that, should have though given it's the same as cigarettes. I'll go and have a look now on the web to see what I can find. Cheers guys.
