With 30 ga ni200 dual coils you'll need 9/10 wraps with a 3 mm coil diameter, or 10/11 wraps with a 2.5 diameter. That's non-twisted. Twisted 30ga or thicker wire will be impossible to fit. Not sure if 30 ga dual coils will fit in the billow, but I've managed to fit it in Fogger v4s and Goblins.

I think that will be doable. Reason I twisted is because the 30g is so thin the post screws tend to snap wire. Might have to sand those down.
Thanks.
I need to do some reading on resistance and why 26g is less resistance than 30g, and twisted is less as well.
Well if you research, the most reasonable way they describe why lower gauge or thicker wire, or twisted/parallel runs lower is because there is more room for current to run. You have to think of the wire as a highway and the electricity running through it as cars. The thinner the highway(thinner the wire) the less cars can travel through. The bigger the highway, the more cars can go through. Think of 20G as a 6 way, 24G as 4 way, 30G as a 2 lane road and so on. Lower gauge will heat faster, higher gauge slower. Lower gauge=lower ohms, higher gauge=higher ohms

This goes for all wires, but Ni200 or Titanium, you want to stick with higher gauges because they are naturally lower ohms than kanthal per ft. Ni200 has the lowest of all, its right below Titanium. It is considered a non-resistance wire which is why its used for temp control and dangerous to use on a mech, or VV/VW. The reason being You dont want to get Titanium or Ni200 too hot because it can become toxic at higher temps when not in TC mode.

Thanks for all of the suggestions and info. The highest analogy makes it clear for me, and its completely opposite to what I thought. I appreciate the help.
So I'll play with non twisted 30g Ni200 on the ohm meter and see if I can get dual coil to work for me. I have single coil on the subtank working at .1 ohms and I'm using the Cloupor mini that I won on ECF.

@BreeZyCloudZ - I just checked out your instagram. The crazy coils you are building...claptons, zipper whozwhatsit helix...is that for the fun of it or do you get much more flavor? Just curious :)

And thanks again for all of the responses. I now understand (for the most part) coil resistance.

Thanks for checkin it out! I just put some new ones on there tonight and its kinda both for fun and for flavor. I mean some of the wayy more complex builds are more for looks but most are for flavor. When you start adding in all these wires and putting them together, the coil itself becomes a wick. The juice seeps into all the cracks and crevices and when heated, creates more vapor along with more flavor. Believe me, ever since ive gotten into more complex builds, the most simple thing i can put into my atty's are Fused Claptons or Alien Claptons. When you go from a single wire to those, theres no goin back. ;)
