I can't post in the correct category, so I'll post it here.
The local news doctor, Dr. McGeorge had a story about e-cigs on the 6pm news on WDIV Detroit. The website is www clickondetroit com and they will maybe post the story online eventually.
The gist of it:
The guy from njoy explaining it it not a cessation device.
The fruity flaovrs will entice children.
Cheryl Healton from American Legacy Foundation says its untested but if it is proven as a cessation device, only then that will be ok.
Then the anchors call the e-cigs "weird" and the Dr. mentions how expensive they are (njoy).

Yeah, not exactly a hard hitting story but I thought I should post about it.

"...the fruity flavors will entice children..."

This SLAYS me. How many kids would or could start vaping for this reason? The cost of the kits, the cost of replacement parts, the necessity of having a battery charging somewhere all the time... the fact that you can't just pull into a 7-11 and buy a bottle of e-liquid (even with a fake ID, because nobody CARRIES it)... some folks are just industrial-grade stupid about this. And the good doctor should do a cost comparison of vaping vs. analogs. Sheesh.

Sorry, I hate it when local news outfits get hold of a story and mangle it, and the continued legality of vaping seems so precarious now.
