Hey all - just thought I would share this since I am new to vaping. My initiation came through buying the GreenSmoke starter kit - I found out later it is pretty overpriced and you can get the exact same thing from the makers in China at less than half the price. SO - mistake number one - Do not buy from GreenSmoke when you can buy from the folks in China who make their GreenSmokes for less than half the price. Oops - I'm a GS affiliate so don't say you heard that from me!

Overall - the greensmoke cig is nice, easy to use, looks really cool - but after a cartridge, I found that the vape was not as good as I had hoped. All though it gave a good amount of vape, the vape itself had almost no flavor and many times it felt like I was just inhaling and exhaling plain air....

THEN I discovered AwesomeVapor dot com and the whole experience has been dramatically changed! No, I don't work for awesomevapor, I just want to let you all know that up front - Everyone knows Arno after all.

I got some of the awesome vapor and followed instructions on the forum for re-filling the GreenSmoke cartridges. Well, the result has been AMAZING. I can now use my Greensmoke cig and the vapor it produces is at least double what the Greensmoke cartridges make. Plus, you can actually TASTE the various flavors! I'm in HEAVEN! So far I've tried Coffee, Menthol, Banana and Green Apple. They are all FANTASTIC.

Of course. cost-wise I can now re-fill my GS cartridges (Cartomizers) for pennies instead of the cost GS charges for cartridges.

Just wanted to share this with any other newbies who are using the two piece mini e-cig models.

Vape on!

I disagree with you a bit concerning the GreenSmoke. It is pricey, but the batts last a LOT longer than other kits, the vapor clouds are ENORMOUS for an auto-batt with the standard carts.

I keep it on me always, for the times I don't want to fuss with refilling my other kits.

I'm glad you're having success with refilling the carts (I've haven't had much with the GreenSmokes), but I like the stock vanilla, the convenience, and portability. I just wish it came with a PCC.

I've tried other dual cart'ers and they just aren't as good :p

I did get replacement batteries for my GS which are OEM at e-cig.com and they are exactly like the GS batteries (without the GS logo), last exactly as long - super good and only 15.00 each instead of 49.00 at GS...check it out if you like the 2 piece model and need some back up batteries. At that price I was able to snag a few more, plus another charger and can now charge them all throughout the day, alternating, and always have a fresh battery. It definitely makes a huge difference in the amount of vapor....

Hi GreenSm0ke,

Thanks for finding this OLD thread.

It actually has some info I was looking for.

I recently purchased my first e-cig from Smoke 51. It's basically
the GreenSmoke under another name.

The battery is an e9 or KR808-D2, which is very similar to the
popular KR808-D1. So it should be a decent performer.

In my experience, I'm not at all happy with the Smoke 51 cartos.

Too expensive. Dry out quickly. Burn up easily. Don't perform
well when refilled.

I've not tried the GreenSmoke cartos to comment.

The negative publicity in this forum for Green Smoke and Smoke 51
seems to be mainly over price and perceived performance.

It appears to me that most performance issues are carto related.

Thanks again for finding this thread. I'm looking up awesome vape now.

The greensmoke affiliate program is very inticing with their huge commision. Are you making sales? How much are you getting per sale? Also, have you received a payout?

Lucky for you I have not seen any flamers in this forum. If there were,
you might get and earful. Just sayin...

Fuggedaboudit

This thread is so old it's point is moot... awesome vapor does not
appear to be supplying D2 cartos.

On second reading, perhaps they never did. The point of this post
may have been just to buy juice somewhere and refill the stock
GreenSmoke cartos.

I'm looking for quality blank KR808-D2 (e9) cartos.

Thanks!

Oh... and juice that works best in them.

My guess is that differences between cartos and the
filler materials in them may require different mixtures
in the juice as well.

I've tried some off-the-shelf juice from the local head
shop, and it does not seem to work consistently in the
D2 cartos I have.

Perhaps it's because this juice is sold to go with an
atty/cart manual battery product they also sell.

(Looks exactly like a 510, but they said it's not.)

Leaning toward higher VG and a thinning additive
to lower the viscosity of the mix.
