hi all.

i am actually new to vaping thus i am in the new member forum :)

i have a "wanna-be" Evic-VT unit that I bought locally and i am still learning to use it correctly.
now. let me put this in numbering mode for my questions:

1) I have two types of ejuice. The first is apparently a "korean seven juice". There is a picture of it here . now the one i have is the one to the very left ... the green one. it doesnt show very well. on the front of the bottle it has a www.gs1138.com website address. and on the other side of it it says "menthol" and "6mg".
I assume the 6mg is the nicotine concentration.
My issue with this once i started to mess around with it yesterday i felt a throat burn using my evic-vt as i am a NON-Smoker.
The most i smoke is a Hookah and thats a different ball game altogether.
could the nicotine be the cause of my "itchy scratchy" throat feeling?

2) i have another ejuice and this one is more different as it comes in a smaller bottle. this is it.
Now with this i felt easy and no throat burn.

3) 3rd issue is the evic-vt unit which i regret buying cause for a beginner like me it seems to be mad complicated. I just want to put in the ejuice and spit out some clouds without harm ... is that too much to ask ? :)
When I put the tank in and fill it with the ejuice and set it to the atomizer its in (being the blue one which is: Nickel 0.2) and hit the trigger button it immediately gives me protection. it never fires.
If i switch it to Wattage mode or whatever where i can choose my own power it will work.
Why? whats going on here?
Please don't give me the generic answer of its going over capacity and all. i dont know what that means. its not even firing to even reach capacity to goto protection mode.

I think thats all for the questions for the moment .. the more i understand from this the less i ask ...

Thank to all who help me out :)

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

We can't see your links as you don't yet have 5 posts. 6mg is the nicotine concentration.

I highly recommend you go out to youtube and watch a review to see how your product works. Hopefully you "wanna-be" works the same.
Ni-200 coils can only be run in temperature control mode.
Kanthal coils can only be run in wattage mode.

All cotton coils have to be "primed" well with juice before you assemble the tank. If they are not primed well the cotton will burn. Unfortunately, once the cotton is burned the harsh/burned taste doesn't go away.

To prime the coil, drop 5-8 drops (sometimes less/more depending on the size of the coil head) of juice right inside the coil, another drop of juice in all the holes on the side of the coil. Put the coil in the base, fill the tank and screw the base back onto the tank. Once you put the tank on the battery give it several unpowered primer puffs. This will make sure the wick is fully saturated.

In wattage mode (with a kanthal coil): Turn you voltage/wattage down, tank a few hits, bump it up, couple more hits. Repeat until you find your "sweet spot". If your vape starts to taste burnt, dial it back down.

I recommend you start first with wattage mode and a kanthal coil.

Welcome and glad you joined.
1. Yes, Any (amount) nicotine can cause scratchy throat sensation with some folks. Bad nicotine can also cause scratchy throat sensation with some folks.
If no nicotine present, makes sense, no scratchy throat sensation.
If nicotine present, good quality nicotine may be undetectable regarding scratchy throat sensation
3) 3rd issue is the evic-vt unit which i regret buying cause for a beginner like me it seems to be mad complicated

Since you are having many problems, suggest you take your unit to a local vape shop and have a knowledgeable sales person assist you. It is possible that you have a faulty unit.
This type of advance device is not recommended for beginning vapers.
