Love my gun metal Vamo. Had it since the day before Christmas an no issues yet. Keep it in the black bag from home to work so no scratches yet. Also am fond of the smoketech gun metal dct tank, works very well.

Got my replacement and it works flawlessly but the threads seem a little wonky on this one. It works but towards the bottom it seems to start threading unevenly or crooked (not like cross threaded) if that makes any sense. Guess I'll just deal with it since the buttons work and the battery don't rattle and shut it off now lol. Great vape though and great customer service.

We've just been made aware that there is an issue with some of the stainless Vamo's and we're working on getting a fix for it. Most likely will be new stainless caps and new springs for those that have the heat or looseness issue. All in all a great mod though.

Mine isn't stainless it's the gun metal. And the replacement that I got had the bigger spring put in which is awesome. The only problem (if you want to call it) is the bottom of the threads not feeling like they are straight I guess you could say, the one I sent back felt good but the new replacement doesn't quite feel right after it gets 2/3 of the way or so to the bottom of the threads.

Oh and I guess I should clarify which threads I was talking about. It's the threads for the 510 threads. I guess it could just be the carto too but I have only tried one so far in it so maybe that's all it is. I will have to check that out. But if not is the 510 thread replaceable? It looks like it can be unscrewed unless those slots are strictly for air flow maybe?

It's probably just the carto, trying others will tell the story. That connector is not replaceable, you guessed correctly that they are for air flow. Let me know what happens and thanks for the clarification.

Rob, both my chrome and gunmetal have the itsy bitsy bottom cap springs that became an issue. Any way I can get the updated caps for both of them??

Just wanted to check in here and post a little update on my gun metal Vamo for anyone looking at this thread and thinking of buying one. Been about a month now and I have had no issues at all. The spring is fine, the screen is fine, and the finish is fine even though I quit babying it after I lost the black bag it came in. One or two little marks on it, but still performs like it did the day I got it. Great device over all and glad I spent the 60 bucks.

Thanks for the feedback! If you let me know about this thread in the comments section during your next order, I'll make sure you get another black pouch for it.

I saw where the supplier said there is an issue with the stainless version, has this been fixed yet? I was about to order soon.
Our latest stock of stainless has the new gold spring and proper fitting end cap, so yes the issues have been fixed. Thanks for asking!
