In case you haven't read about it yet, the Inferno is a fat batt 510. It's essentially a rebranded eGo (other rebrands include Riva and Tornado), but I am not sure if the parts for all of them are interchangeable. I've read that people with Rivas have tried using eGo tank attys on them and they don't fit properly. The Inferno will, however, accept any other 510 atty/cartomizer as well as 306 attys.

It is kind of odd that the Inferno kit doesn't come with cartridges, but IMO this works out in your favor. Here is my reasoning. Cartridges are a PITA. They don't hold much ejuice, and they're horrible at wicking. As others have suggested, your best bet would be to just pick up a couple tank attys (tankomizers) and some blank tank cartridges. They attys do come with a lot of primer in them so you'll want to blow it all out prior to use. They perform a hell of a lot better than the standart atty/cart combo, and they're much easier to use and more convenient than the CE2R4 cartomizers. Try out the tanks...you won't be sorry.

Well, since youll be starting out with dripping, you might have issues going back to carts anyhow. If their set up properly, they work fine, but your going to get weined on dripping, so they wont stack up. Once you get tired of dripping, but love the flavor and hit, next step will be the tanks, and crossing fingers they have the quality and longevity they are supposed to. Id still pick up a standard 510 carts to tinker with and familiarize yourself with what everyone else here knows, and it will help you understand the WHY's behind everyones comments. You'll have a tackle box full of stuff anyhow. Just give time to soak up the info and experience between shopping sprees.

Thank you for breaking down the PG VG for me. A friend also explained that there was a possibility of allergic reactions to PG. I'm trying both 50/50 and 70/30 for now to see what i like. He uses 100 PG and his vapes were on the harsher side compared to other friends'.

Hi and welcome! As you notice we are enablers :)

Good choice!

You could try some juices from elsewhere - so many good ones. Don't go too wild though until you make sure your chosen nicotine level is right for you. If the juices you got are 100% PG (often sold by mainly-hardware companies) then those can be a bit harsh on the tongue and throat. Try some juice around 70pg/30vg and see how you like that - PG lets through more TH and VG smoothes the TH some and adds more vapor. So 50/50 would be less hit and more vapor, 80pg/20vg would be more hit and less vapor. (hit as in the throat harshness of nicotine)

My favorite vendors are Backwoods Brew and FreedomSmokeUSA, plus Velvet Vapors for a couple I love (including Raspberry Ginger Ale)

No, the inferno kit doesn't come with cartridges, so it's good that you got the drip tip!

I just got an inferno kit, it comes with the tankomizer and 5 blank tanks. It's got everything you need unless I'm really dumb and not understanding what you are referring to. It's fantastic, but whoa..the delivery is so good that I had to back off a bit, for the first time since I have been doing this I got a little buzzed and a headache (and this was with 16mg juice- I've been using 24 with my kr808)

Which starter kit did you get? There's the basic inferno kit and then there's the inferno T kit. The Inferno Kit comes with:
(1) Gift Box
(1) 650 mah USB Passthrough Battery
(1) 1000 mah ultra battery
(1) MAGMA Atomizer
(2) Atomizer cones
(1) Carry Bag
(1) Mini USB cable
(1) Wall Charger

The Inferno T Kit is the one withthe tank-o-mizer.

I'm so excited about my kit though.. I should be getting it today.

I only got the other kit because all my friends were telling me to get the drip tip. But from responses on the forum, it seems cartridges are the easiest way to introduce yourself to e-cigs. I am a noob as well. Did you already get the package? If so, you're already ahead of me.

Yes, I got it & love it, the tanks hold a ton of juice, and the clear ones let you see how much you have left. It took about 6 days to get it delivered, but I didn't upgrade the shipping to fed-ex. Everything looks really well made, for v-liquid I got cherry lava which I absolutely love..but I think it's a bit overpriced, so I'm hoping to find something similar from another vendor for a bit less $$. I wish I could have ordered it in pink though..I see that you can order a battery and a tank-o-mizer in pink..that's just so tempting for when I go out lol..

nice you got a usb batt... these are killer so you can vape while at your desk without worrying about batt usage (charge)...
I'll assume the atty is calibrated right for the batt.... and a good thing you have friends that seem to know what they're talking about.
Most here seem to prefer LR attys with the eGo type (Inferno) batt, but i prefer a slightly cooler vape, which btw, most eGo type batts usually come with.

The difference is resistance (Ohm): LR's are 1.5 to 1.9 or even 2.0 Ohm and are a hotter vape.
2.2 Ohm imo is the perfect vape for these batts, as they are more volts than the automatic batts. Clouds of vapor, sufficient throat hit, warm, but not hot (can be scorching)...

It would be good to get both kinds so you can see for yourself.... it's a little tricky because too many vendors don't list Ohm's for "regular" 510 attys... some do and it's 2.2 to 2.4 that you want... some "reg" 510 are up to 2.8 and it's hard to get a decent vape from them without higher voltage.

I hope this isn't too much info for you. we're all so enthused about vaping lol.

So, it might be good for me to get a LR atty? I need to get another atty or two for back-up anyway. Is there any one in particular you would recommend? I'm assuming that the LR atty is a cylinder, not a 'tank' type, so you would use the cone they include with the ego-t kit, right? What do you use with the LR atty? driptip? Sorry for all the questions..

You will be able to order the tank-o-mizer atty and tanks as an add on to your Inferno batteries- they fit fine, and its not a bad thing to have a regular atty to drip into, since it allows you to test different ejuices without committing to cleaning the whole set up if you don't like the taste. The nice thing about the Inferno kit is the included usb battery that works as a pass thru, and that you get the bigger battery. With these batteries, you can get cartomizers, clearomizers, tanks, or just plain 510 atty's with drip tips and the battery should last you at least 4-6 hours. Mine last almost 2 days (I will admit that I use 3 set up in rotation during the day). Grab some samplers from some of the other vendors, including a bunch of different nic levels and flavors- Velvet Vapors has a nice sampler set at a decent price, FSUSA does too, as well as DIY Flavorshack. I actually used cartomizers (Boge regulars) for my Inferno's prior to getting the tanks, and still use them on my puresmoker V3- these have the attomizer built into the carto, so when one goes bad- it goes in the trash and only cost be about $1.50. Type eGo e cig to search you tube, since the Inferno is a rebranded eGo/Vgo type pv.
Pixiedust, questions are what we are here for :) ask away!
And Dormouse- you are the one who led me to Velvet Vapors for the raspberry ginger ale- I love this stuff, and it is my favorite all day vape. Thanks!

Thanks for the info, I ordered some extra atty's (LR and tank-o-mizer) and some other stuff from totally wicked, they had a 35% off coupon code on twitter that made it a very good deal.
