So I bought an Ego starter kit from Vaporcaststore. Kit came with no instructions. So after putting some drops into cartomizer and letting soak for a bit, I do not get alot of vapor from cig. Also the throat hit is killing me. I have blueberry e-liquid at 12mg nicotine. Was trying to get a little help as to what I may be doing wrong. My wife has tried it also and she can't even use is because is hurts her throat. So, any help would be appreciated.

Here's a way to properly fill a cartomizer. Hopefullly you haven't ruined that one, but you might have. After you start tasting a really bad taste, you'll never get that out. Sounds like you didn't completely fill the carto, so here's a good tutorial on how to do that. Hang in there! You'll get it and be very happy you did!

Checked out the video and I put the drops in the second way he showed. And made sure not to get any in the center tube. But still not getting much vapor. Must be just me. Also does adding a little bit of water help with the burning when inhaling?
Do you know the ratio of PG to VG in your e-juice? The higher the PG, the higher the throat hit. Many out there re 80/20 or 70/30, and that may be too much PG for you. Try to find something at 50/50 - lots of places let you choose the ratio. You may even want to try an all-VG juice which means lower throat hit and lots of vapor.
Another problem may be how you're vaping. You can't do it like you're smoking a cigarette. Take long, slow pulls and hold the vape in your mouth before inhaling. Try it and see if that helps.

The amount of nicotine shouldn't matter too much.
What device are you using?
Maybe you have a high res carto in?
If you have a 3.7 v device you should be using a low res carto (1-5-2.0 ohms)
Using a 3.0 ohm carto on an ego would cause weak vapor.

I think the dual coils on an Ego really strain the battery and give a harsh vape in the process. I don't even like to use them on my KGO and it's a better, stronger battery than the Ego. For an Ego, you may want to stay at 2ohms or above.
