Remove the RBA you have attached. I watched the video BTW, dont own an iTaste 134 but when you are initially installing the bottom cap you are completing the circuit and if your RBA is causing a short than the device will go into protection. Do you have access to a multi meter?
tried that, same result.
What type of batteries are you using? The i134 uses an unprotected 18650 button top.
Efest flat top 18650, it's what came with the kit.
From the video it looked like an EFEST flat top but I wasnt 100%.
Thank you for posting the video.
Another small fix I seen whilst searching for what might be causing the issue is that sometimes the 134 will malfunction if you attempt to turn it on whilst the variable voltage/wattage dial is in between a solid setting or is on a setting higher than 10. Again, I believe you would most probably think to check something like that, but just throwing it out there.
the setting hasn't changed since it was set on day 1 and it worked fine for 3 weeks, nothing was changed on the unit. but just for ....s and giggles i did try your suggestion of setting it below 10 and trying to turn it on, same result.
There is nothing wrong with your i134!
In the video you have a flat top battery. I tried using a flat top battery in mine ( have both style batteries ) and it did the same thing.
To use a flat top battery you will have to add a small magnet for it to work.
I have no idea what you're talking about.
I have a 134 and only use flat top Sonys. That isn't the problem.
One thing that has yet to be mentioned.... What tank/RBA/RDA are you trying to use, and what Ω is the coil. If you install something with a coil around 1Ω or anything lower, you will get the results you are getting now. It needs to be 1.1Ω or higher.
it's the stock tank, nothing fancy here.
I would like to thank all who took the time to reply with a possible fix for this, but so far it's still broken.
Keep in mind that this is a stock unit, not modified in any shape or form. i suspect a there might be a short in the power button. what really blows is i buy this brand new kit on E-bay from a reputable seller and 3 weeks later it stops working and I'm being told no warranty, not from the seller nor the manufacturer.
Keep the ideas coming, it's much appreciated.
