I'm currently running the sub tank mini. My question is has anyone tried the ssocc round .5 replacement coils and, or the new .5 round occ Clapton coils. And if so how do you like them?

I've tried the .5 ohm ssocc on my nebox. I'm personally not a big fan of them. For some reason, I get an almost metallic like taste coming off of them. Could have been the one coil, only used it because it came with the device. I'm not the most reliable source for this but that's my input. On the other hand, there are alot of people who come into the shop and they love the ssocc. I find more people love it then hate it.

I'm using a Red ring 0.5 in a Nano and liking it.
Seems to wick better, handle the power just a tad better, and no off taste... for me.

But I've only been using the one so far.

An FYI... it's a NiChrome coil, only the Pink ring is SS.
If I can find the SS (rare as hen's teeth at the moment), they'll likely have the Claptons as well, figure I'll try both.
