What mod and settings are you using?
I will pick up a T8 coil for my TFV8 Cloud Beast tomorrow morning, saturate and prime and take close note of the entire process as I do it (to be sure I can give you my whole process and to base on in case there are issues).
Off the top of my head, set your wattage a good bit below what you'll be hitting at, saturate your coil manually rather than filling and waiting (it's fine if you don't mind waiting 20+ minutes and those terrible fresh cotton hits, but I'd sat/prime manually as it doubles for that initial break in and burn-off). Once you are fairly well saturated, do fairly short fire bursts while blowing down into the coil head (very short bursts), then after each one or two bursts, slowly drip directly into the cotton on each coil bore without over saturating (you don't want pooling on the coil itself). This has a few beneficial components, 1 being once you are mostly saturated, it warms what you have already dripped in and aides flow of the rest, 2 its helps with dust and handling contamination burn-off, and 3 all fresh cotton gives you some funky hits for the first few firings. Make sure your mod is not set above the "recommended" range for the coil for this initial process, and for example. my Revenger X has 3 VW modes to select from, HIGH, Normal and Low. Use Normal or Low, not TC settings as I still have yet to come across a tank coil head other than the RBA that can truly support TC. Once you have saturated and primed using the very very short firings, do your first several hits at a lower wattage then go up within the coil head's range to get to your preference. This sounds like a much longer process than it really is, actual process takes about 5 minutes. Again, what mod & batteries & settings are you using?
