Try what @Coyote628 suggested, don't go above 20W to start with. After you fill the tank wait minimum 10min, not 5 like manufacturer says. I noticed some coils perform better after priming for a bit longer than what it says on the box
ive redone the coil and what watt getting should i put to 20, as there are two different types of watt setting options :/

Do this....change the coil, prime the new coil thoroughly. Pop the batteries out of the mod and the put them back. This takes the mod to wattage. Dont change any settings. Put the tank back on and then select yes for new coil. Then before you vape it, lower the wattage to 20 watts. Then start vaping and gradually bring the watts up to your comfort level
I did what you said and when i turned it back on it didnt give me the option about a new coil

On the FIT screen you should be on 1. Fast click 3 times and you'll see SS. NI TI. Fast click 3 more times and you'll see 200F or some temp reading. Fast click 3 more times and it will take you to wattage mode. Use the small button at the bottom to lower the wattage to about 20watts to start with...

The picture you posted says Drag2 (mod) and the Pnp "pod" with two coil options: 0.15 ohm, 0.2 ohm (I don't see a 0.6) you said these coils came with the kit? Or did you get the coil separate? Please learn how to use the settings on your mod (regardless of what coil you are using) I'll try to post some links to videos to help you.

this is what it says on the back of the box, is this any help?
Biggest thing I can see is you're using a pod tank on a 2 battery mod. I'm kinda surprised voopoo added that to the kit. You simply overpowered it right off the start. Live and learn. Keep the mod in wattage mode and keep the watts down for what you're using on it

I think that the Watt S and R are just refering to Soft and Regular or normal. If so Soft will start off a little under power and then increase and Regular will give you the full power setting.

And @davinationtv, the mod's only doing what you tell it to and it can't really be compared to a non adjustable pod really. As they work significantly differently from each other.

In fact mods are more flexible, as you can always use a different tank or atomiser.

But it may be a good idea to watch a few reviews on YouTube for the Voopoo Drag as well, as a good reviewer will go through the devices menus and settings. As sometimes it can be a lot more helpful when you get shown how to do things rather than trying to decode a manual.

And if the mod doesn't read the resistance when you put the batteries back in, just remove the tank or atomiser and press fire. That should clear the resistance reading making it ready to read a new resistance, just make sure that the coil is totally cool when you do it though as it needs to be to work properly.

The drag 2 has FIT settings 1,2, and 3. I think these are the same as the soft, reg, and hard settings on the older model. And his kit came with that pod tank that the drag x and drag s pod systems have. It's kind of a hybrid of sorts of a pod type vape experience from a drop in coil. My drag 2 is powering a fireluke 2 mesh. I'm breaking in a new coil right now. But I vape DL at 50 to 60 watts. His tank can do restricted DL or MTL. I looked these up the other day. I probably wouldn't use one but for the OP coming off a smok pod, it's a pretty big step up to a drag even if the atomizer is a kind of pod.

It has external batteries ive put into it. I've lowered the watts and im still getting dry hits which is not pleasant at the back of my throat. I've tried looking on youtube but like previously said in the vidoes it says they have 3 options for the FIT but mine only has 2, and in the videos they have different top parts to mine, so i'm all kind of confused right now. Think might just leave it and take it to the shop next weeks to see if they can help, as i work nights and so cant get to the shop until im off work. Just annoying though, I appreciate all you guys help and ive researched on youtube and google myself but nothing seems to stop the dry hits im getting even with me changing the coil and everything. :(

OK... newer videos shows the Drag2 with the PnP pod tank. I get it now... the pod normally comes with the Drag S or Drag X and the pod just drops in (held by magnets) The new adapter is a 510 (the part that screws into the mod) and then the pod just drops in (that's actually very cool) The video mentioned two coils for the pod (but still not a 0.6 ohm) so still a bit confused. I have some spare time (and like to help people) so will continue to look into this.
BTW, do you have an external charger for those batteries? If not, please consider getting one (using the USB for those is not a good idea but we will get into that later... has nothing to do with your current issue) You didn't tell me where you got the 0.6 ohm coils (or if they came with it) I have got bad coils from e-bay (never again... lesson learned) I am really thinking this is just a simple issue of setting the controls on the mod (it can be every confusing) Do you know how to lock the settimgs (once you choose a wattage)? Have made that mistake before and vaped a coil that only need 15 watts at 60 watts before I noticed. Always keep an eye on the screen and check coil resistance and wattage. You have options for different coils (might find one you like better) Do you let the new coil (after filling tank/pod) sit at least 10 minutes before vaping? This is very important. You can also do a few "primer puffs" (draw air without firing) to help the coil wick get saturated with juice. Hope this helps.

By dry hits do you mean not much vapor/flavor or do you mean more like a scorched nasty flavor. Dry hits imply the coil wick is not getting enough juice. Scorched flavor means the wick is getting too cooked (they are related but if you could be very specific it would help) Once a coil wick is scorched, there is generally no way to save it.
Too much PG can irritate your throat (I can only tolerate 35 % so that would be juice that is 65VG/35PG) Not a big deal for me but common to have issues with too much PG. You have tried this juice before in the Smok Nord? Or maybe you mixed it different.

Hi thank you for the help <3 Yes ive tried the juice in my smok and it taste and feels perfectly fine but then I put it into the drag i get this weird, not burning taste, as i know that taste when forgetting to refill my smok and burning a coil in it that taste is nasty, but it its not a burning feeling but its an unpleasant one and makes my throat go very dry and I require a drink to sooth my throat. I got the o.6 coils from the shop i got my drag from where I always get my coils from in the past for my smok from a company called evapo. I just felt like upgrading from my smok as ive gotten used to that, as that was my first vape and helped me give up smoking, but all this trouble with the drag, kind of wished i never bothered lol
