The wattage guides on pre-made coils are just that, guides. What is 'good' is highly subjective, start low and increase until desired happiness levels are achieved.
Bear in mind the VG/PG ratio and the amount of sweeteners and other flavorings in your juice will affect the outcome. Also, premade coils are made for pennies and can suffer from poor QC. The spitting you described could be due to too much wicking, or possibly to the juice being too thin due to the PG ratio.

Welcome to ECF @kamoose :)

Just start low and work your way up - your sweet spot should hit right before it starts to taste burnt. If you've toasted the coil, you might be SOL.

I almost NEVER run coils where they're rated (I tend to like a little bit cooler vape than some folks do.)

It's almost impossible to say. I deleted the rest of my post (it was a rant against coil manufacturers) and patronizing to a long-term vaper.
Maybe the 0.2 is just a bit rubbish. Vaping 360 didn't like it, but then again, Vaping 360 is just a machine to make money and their opinion is pretty worthless unless you like being manipulated ($$), which I don't. I've never tried the 0.2 I must say. The other one is pretty good. :)

One of my favorite set-ups :thumb:
Your PG/VG ratio sounds fine so if it were me I'd break your tank down and shake your coil out good and try again starting at the lowest suggested watt and working up until it suits you.

Wish you the best of luck :)
