Been having a few problems with my Ego charger staying on.
First problem was with usb cord that the battery screws onto, the led light kept going on and off when the battery was moved a little. Open the adapter and found one of the usb wires from the charger was only being held on by two small wires, rest of the small wires in the cable were frayed and not connected. Cut the wire, trimmed twisted the smaller wires, then re-soldered it back to the board in the usb connector. Now it has a good connection, who ever put it together the first time did a very poor job.
Second problem that I don't have solution for is with the usb plug. It seems that with the larger batteries that the usb end of the plug wants to pull out of the wall adapter. So I guess I'm looking for a charger that can support the weight of the battery when charging. All the charger cables that I can find for the Ego batteries are the same type that use a wall charger with a usb plug in.
