I just wanted to warn people to stay away from them. Pods cost around 4.50 each, and dont last long. They also leak alot and spit juice in your mouth every 3-4 hits or so. The MyBlu batteries are also inconsistent as I bought 3 during the sale last month. And literally every one is different.

One has thinner walls for the pod and is a tad shorter so the pods dont fit correctly, and doesnt have the red led when below 5% charge.

One has the nice thicker walls and the pods fit well, but still doesnt have the red led when below 5% charge.

And only one of them is as advertised on their website. Either the other places selling them are selling old versions, or they are just inconsistent. But I cant recommend it at all for all these reasons. Better to buy yourself an actual pod system, and save some money in the long run.

I saw someone who posted on the website about a pod "which costs 4.50 each" came without the bottom piece in it! And they basically said to them "dont use that pod" and that was in a review where everybody can see it! Im sorry, but if I bought a pack of cigarettes and it was completely empty and they told me not to smoke them. I might make them eat the empty pack. Horrible.

Been using Von Erl/myBlu for 2 years, found them pretty consistent tbh.
I mean, if you arent used to better then i guess its passable. But I have had nothing but problems with every single pod and only 1 battery is actually as advertised.

Did you guys get them during the $1 promo or pay full price? I thought the promo was over but I may be mistaken.

I've used better and worse. I have never gotten a better deal than 90 cents shipped--haha! I have paid a lot more and gotten a lot less.

I bought a few ;) at 90 cents shipped and have been very happy with them. Mine have been consistent. The battery life and battery indicator are better than used by Smok. The draw activation isn't as sensitive as Smok's but I quickly adapted to it.

I think the pull is what trips people up on the Myblu. A soft steady pull works best. As a former smoker, I think it's pretty good. But it could be more responsive. Folks that are more used to vaping rather than smoking tend to prefer looser draws like the Breeze 1. The pull on the Breeze is more like an inhaler than a cigarette.

I did have one with a problematic battery but Blu does warranty the batteries for life. I have so many of them that I haven't bothered to ask for a replacement.

If I were to guess, I'd say that I'd used about 12 so far. I do refill them and rewick them.

I look at it differently. I remember a time when there was nothing in a cigarette but tobacco. Then they started adding stuff to hook their customers to assure repeat business....a drug syndicate if you will.
I'll never trust any of their products again..once bitten.... !!!

I don't care for the Gold Leaf so I empty the pods and fill them with Mr Salt E or diluted Mr Salt E . I'll start making my own soon. I ordered reagents on Monday. I also rewick the pods as needed. I think the $1 promo is over though so this is sort of an out dated topic. At the full retail $20 price, there are better deals. I wish more companies would sell their kits for $1 --haha!

I purchased quite a few when they were $1. I empty the tobacco liquid and refill with my favorite. I also rewick so there's no tobacco flavor. Big Tobacco got a lot of my money when my SO and I were smoking. So now they got a little more to help SO quit. It's the last time they'll get my money but it's worth it.

Gosh, I think the great cigalike debate is kind of like other values, you simply have to decide for yourself.

I'm glad to be supporting vaping, not the Big Tobacco attempt to emulate vaping, ESPECIALLY since it kind of tilts the FDA toward pod systems of poor quality and high price.

But those are my values and I have also seen folks buying their "whatever" cartridges of the day from the gas station attendant, with the same everyday, offhand manner by which they used to buy cigarettes, and I've seen repeat buyers so whatever is working for THEM is clearly WORKING, and so I have to classify it as "harm reduction" even though I probably would not buy a cigalike if THEY PAID me to do it, which I sort of foresee in the not to distant future: "We will send you a sample pack and you can send in a rebate and earn ten dollars, and if you like it well NOW YOU ARE STUCK WITH OUR SYSTEM."

There is No Lose as far as giving away starter kits. The person will either start vaping the cigalike, or return to smoking, and either way that is better than the money going to A REAL VAPE SHOP and etc.

I bought 60 MyBlu myself and I am glad I did for a buck a piece. I am sure it cost them like 10 bucks to manufacture each kit, so they must be losing something like 9 bucks a kit. They hope people like me will continue buying their pods and make up for their loss on their kit very quickly.

But most of those I know, this isn't our plan at all. We plan on using them and refilling them until they die. No need to buy anything else from Blu, since there are so many other options out there. And why support them anyway? All we did is to cost them lots of money and they are not getting anything back in return. I see this as a good thing, don't you? :D

P.S. Score: I'm out 60 bucks and Blu is out like $600. :)

P.S.S. If more people did what some of us have done, we could have bankrupted Blu. :)

I'd like to think it worked that way, even if it is a one-off. That said - what if it's a bit like spam - they won't need many people to buy refills before they start earning.

Here, myBlu can be had for upwards of £10. No thanks. That could buy a pack of 20.
They don't sell pods that are refillable. They only sell onetime use filled with their juice pods. Although they are very easy to pop the bottom off and refill them with your own juice. So you might use them anywhere between 5 to 20 times depending on your juice and then toss them out. Some people want to rebuild them and that should work too. But boy is that tiny work. I'm not going that far.

I love mine. It’s the most satisfied I’ve ever been with a setup, and I’ve been vaping since 2012. Out of the 25 or so I’ve bought, I had two dud batteries and one pod that didn’t wick well. But that seems fairly normal for mass production vape stuff, and they’ll replace them if I bothered.

Once all of these pods stop working, I’ll try to find the most equivalent open pod system.

From those 60 kits, you also got 3000 points ($30) to spend on the blu website (if you have the patience to enter in all 60 of those product codes--haha!) Points can only be used to cover up to 75% of a purchase so you could get $40 worth of pods for $10... approximately. There are also some coupons that stack with points.
NEW2BLU10 --10% off stackable
INTENSE25 --25% off 4 different "intense" pods (stacks with 10% off and points)
INTENSE20 --20% off "intense" pods (stacks with 10% off and points)

The MyBlu arent all bad. But for the cost of pods they could be way better. As long as we arent smoking thats what counts. I personally actually like the Gold Leaf tobacco flavor, every flavor of theirs I have tried have been good. But each pod being 1.5ml and lasting about a day, at 9 bucks for 2, thats as much as smoking. To be expected from big tobacco, they arent in the business of losing money.

It’s still cheaper than smoking for my area, but I will definitely not pay $9 for two pods if I can help it. Thankfully most of us got a lot of the $1 pods.

I think I’ll use my points to grab a few of the intense pods though, just out of curiosity.

The intense pods are probably alot better for the money. If its just nicotine satisfaction. Cause 5% is 2x as strong+ as their 2.4% pods. And for only a buck more. So you will get 2x the satisfaction for 10% more price.

Me though, I enjoy vaping regularly so I cant do the nic salts. I gotta have my throat hit with at least a 50/50 blend at 18-24mg. I dont care for a smooth vape, i want that throat punch.

Which honestly, the MyBlu does give me awesome throat hit with their 2.4% juice. And of the 3 flavors I have tried, all are pretty awesome.

Currently vaping a Myblu, a Breeze 2 and X-Baby Brother on V8 Stick.
Just ordered another Myblu today for a dollar and wish I could get more but I had assumed you could only get one at that price until I tried today with a different card and was able to order another one. I really learned to like the Myblu for specific reasons below.

The only reason I ordered one in the first place was because I thought I could put new coils in it and I was right. $4.5 2mil pods..haha..no thanks. I may be the first to put coils in them as I don't see anyone else on Google who's done this.
It is such a slick little device and feels so nice in the hand and I believe it will suit my purposes because I only have to buy pods once. I was surprised how easy it was to put a new coil in it. I should do a video or at least post up some pictures to show how easy it is.

It suits my needs because:

1. Stealthiest vape I have
2. Can refill, rewick and replace coils
3. I am also a medical kaneh-bosem patient. (If I am allowed to say that here) I believed Myblu to be an excellent alternative to my 510 devices for this purpose as a little goes a long way. Pod would last for weeks or months battery would last for days perhaps a week or two.
4. For its size and cost it performs. Especially as used in 3 above. As a regular ecig its ok. Is it as good as my others? Mmm...it is what it is and it as close to the feel of an analog as I have had...size and draw activated I mean. I would definitely give it up before the other 2 I use if had to choose. I need some clouds and nicotine!
It reminds me of the old school 8-9 years ago, ecigs I bought w. draw activated switch and blue light on the end but this is much more advanced.

Not saying OP is wrong at all and I have only had one so far with the other one on the way. The 3 devices (small, medium and large) I am using now have been the first to keep me from wanting to smoke. Myblu has contributed especially as a fun super stealth device but would never satisfy me enough by itself except of course for number 3 above. One or two puffs and that is enough for that.

As a nicotine device it produces a good amount of vapor for its size but trying to get good flavor? Nah. Nic salt or nic freebase it just is not a flavor machine. I use my X-Baby or Breeze 2 for satisfying flavor. Myblu has been reliable for over a month but I charge often.

I just found out today who owned Myblu and that makes getting one for $1 and not having to buy pods often even sweeter. There is no money for them to make off of the starter kit especially at the "giveaway price". I dont mind buying a pod occasionally and for a buck I can save lots of money with it and I just love the looks, smooth lines, the way it feels in my hand, will fit anywhere including my jeans watch pocket and it is super stealth.

Sorry for your bad experience OP. There are devices I know others think are great but just do not work for me.

Source: Been vaping 9 years and was building box mods before box mods were really available. Have owned more ecigs than I can count and setting up others with vapes. Juice mixer, mod maker etc.
