supertkre and Scubadan both ROCK in my opinion.

They have done more for this forum (DYI juice) than most anybody.

I'm down by Panama City and would love to hook up and trade secrets with them.
Maybe some of them smarts will rub off on me.

Everybody keep asking questions and hopefully they will keep answering them.

Thanks guys.

I was not satisfied with the last mix I made using a base of 60mg VG. So I wanted to try again to see if I could improve on the hit. So here's what I did:

50% 60mg unflavored VG base
40% PGA
10% Seedmans Virginia concentrate

Seems like a simple receipe but that's the way I like them. This juice produces a great throat hit and tons of vapor and about 30mg of nic.

I made another mix using 36mg PG:

60% 36mg unflavored PG base.
20% VG
10% Seedmans virginia concentrate.
10$ PGA

Again a simple easy to produce and modify receipe.

I've found the Virginia concentrate from Seedmans much better than the standard flavor. Not as much water in the concentrate and it makes it easier to get more flavor without diluting the mix.

Yep, way too watery for me, and I try to stay away from too much vg.
I'm not seeing the virginia concentrate on the site, so I'm guessing this is the enhancer boiled down?

I'm going to try this recipe...thanks for sharing!

The concentrate is just below the description of the flavor enhancers IE..

TOB500 Virginia Fire Cured Enhancer
Smoothes tobacco flavor and lends a fire cured flavor to all tobacco types.
Price:
TOB500A Pre-mixed 2 ounce bottle of flavoring in Plastic Misting/Spray Bottle, ready to apply directly to tobacco. Flavors 1 pound of tobacco. $5.00
TOB500C Pre-mixed 4 ounce bottle of flavoring in Plastic Bottle, ready to apply directly to tobacco. This is economical re-fill for Misting Bottles, flavors 2 pounds of tobacco.$7.50
TOB500D 7½ ounce concentrate in handy "Measure and Pour" Bottle. Mix ½ ounce of this concentrate with 1½ ounces of distilled water and make your own flavoring. This bottle will flavor 15 pounds of Tobacco. $28.50

I would assume that the flavor enhancers are diluted from the concentrate so that they can be used in the misting bottles. But, I don't know for sure.

Ahh yes!...never noticed that before, wish they did a 2oz bottle,...71/2 oz $28.50.. ouch!.. This is what I'm going to do for now...take my 2oz bottle and simmer it down (it's no good to me as is) to a concentrate of sorts, add a little of my TA and EM mix, a dash of caramel, and give it a vape! :)

The Seedman products appear to contain a lot of sugar. They fall under 'casings', various flavorings added to tobacco. Sugar has been used to mellow tobacco since the late 16th century. Reducing the solution (I've tried) seems to increase the tobacco flavor but I believe it also concentrates the sugars. There is a disagreeable after taste. Sugar may burn well in tobacco, but I believe it's not good for vaping.

I think folks time and energy would be better spent looking for a good, pure tobacco absolute and how that can be used.

And not good for atomizers..hmm,..maybe I'll hold off on that idea. I do have the tobacco absolute but you gotta be Real careful with that stuff.
Thanks Willy.
smonomo.......you gotta wait for your Virginia to come in from Happy Vaper first....lol......I gotta feeling it will blow the Seedman's out of the water......I am not paying $28.50....that is ridiculous.
Well, it is 7 1/2oz....but yeah you might be right, I'll wait for the Happy Vaper.

sononmo, tonight I made up a 10 ml batch of no nic with tobacco absolute. Actually it didn't turn out too bad.......tried nuck's receipe, with the etythl maltol and the menthol...I added a dabs of chocolate, menthol and vanilla.........not too bad...pretty cheap....

The first time I made it, I screwed it up, but this time I think I have it. Geez, that tobacco absolute is thick and smelly.

The Flavourart Virginia really tastes nothing like the Seedman's Virginia Flue Cured. It's a light tobacco flavor with hay or grass tones. I have both.

While the Virginia from Happy Vaper is OK, it's really too bland for my taste. I do use it to add complexity to their Burley and Desert Ship, as well as others though. Whereas, for me, the VFC from Seedman's has tobacco flavor but a sour tone I don't like.

Guys, I have been using the Seedmans flavorings for about 2 months. I have not noticed a sharp increase in atomizer failures. In the past 2 months I have removed 4 atomizers from my rotation. Three of these were from mechanical failures. Only one suffered issues with a gunked up coil. This failure rate is normal considering that I spend most of my time on my Prodigy at 5 volts.
