Like I hit 4-5 in a row and it gets really really hot + a few hours ago was tasting better , Ive checked the battery and everything and I have no clue of what this might be. Can anybody help me ? I briefly had that setup but gave it away to a new vaper. I will say, the tank is small so depending on the coil you use, it may heat up. I don't know if that amount of heat is normal though... It is a small tank, so if it's the tank warming up I might be less concerned, but maybe still concerned.

If you really aren't sure and you want to err on the side of caution yes, you could warranty it.

Good luck with whatever you decide. I hope you get it worked out and welcome to ECF. :)

Its the top , the tanq
It would be normal for a tank to get hot, after all the heating coil is in there and the heat it makes can transfer to the metal parts of the tank. It would be even more likely if you were chain vaping it.

The actual battery part, no, it should never get hot or very warm. If it does, stop using it immediately and retire it from further use. A very warm or hot battery is never normal.

I will say when starting out, when I only had a couple setups and would chain-vape in the mornings, sometimes my tanks would get surprisingly hot, I mean really quite warm. I was using Nautilus 2s at the time, and they are a small tank designed for MTL with fairly minimal airflow settings and they heated up noticeably. When I did buy some larger tanks and had more tanks in rotation (as well as modifying my vape e-liquid slightly) that stopped, for the most part. I can still sometimes heat up a tank if I'm driving and vaping mindlessly.... Fairly warm to the touch, not super hot.

It's considered "best practice" to not let tanks rise to dangerous levels, so one thing you might consider is getting another setup (maybe something slightly different) and using both in rotation so that heat does not rise. It's good to have a backup setup anyway, in case something happens. Unless the tank gets so hot that it's hard to touch and the vape so uncomfortably warm that it doesn't feel good, I'd be less inclined to be worried about the tank.

Best of luck,

Anna

I love that vape pen!! That’s what I used to stop smoking. I still keep it around for emergencies. The tank does definitely get warm if you’re firing it 5-6 times in a row with long firing times. Taking shorter inhales and allowing a bit of time between firings should work.

Welcome to ECF!!
