Just received 2 Kanger Aero tank bases from Sun Vapers. And as advertised, it fits flawlessly on my Protank II.

Now that I'm rebuilding my Protank heads with microcoils/cotton, I've been wanting a nice way to increase the airflow, and the adjustable Aero base was the perfect answer. Perhaps, the single best $6 I've spent on vaping gear.

Another benefit to the Aero base that I haven't seen mentioned is that there shouldn't be that stray drop of juice on your battery any more. The coil sits inside the base and there is a separate contact in the base that actually touches the battery. There is no longer a direct path to the battery through the atomizer head.

To bad Kanger didn't have this idea a long time ago. They could have just named it the Protank I.

I bought one of these bases for my Protank 1. At wide open the draw is slightly tighter than the stock Protank 1 base. An interesting thing I noticed once I upgraded the base, about a quarter of the draws I take, I get a tiny bit of boiling juice splash on my tongue (which I enjoy). Perhaps it has to do with juice not being able to drip onto the mod.

On both the Aero bases I received, the draw is much looser then the stock base, and I'd say even looser then one of my drilled bases. Having gotten use to the airy draws of most of my rebuildables, I was instantly aware of the improvement with the aero base. And yet another benefit, I can flush mount it on my SVD without cutting off air flow. :)
