lightgeoduck,
Good tip I'll have to check this out. I don't think this should be something we "customers" have to do to get our products working, but I know how it is. Too bad Nohaler did not take the time to tell me this....hmmmmmmm?

hmmm... well my tip isn't an isolated issue.. meaning it can happen with any atty model/type from any supplier...sometimes its a device that causes it to happen.. meaning If I use my 801 atty on my vp-pt.. and then use the same atty on my Janty stick V3 I will 99% of the time have to pull the center post of the atty out a smidgette (my word :D )

as far this thread and Nhaler.. It doesn't necessarily relate to the Topic at hand... LRs are a new beast and they need different care.... So I believe anything out side the exact problem the OP has.. would most likely be a totally different thread IMEO...

note: I am not trying to discredit your issues.. I am just saying that's all

Thank you for understanding

i'm sorry you're LR attys aren't working for you. i absolutely love using them on my eGo (so far it's been my best vaping experience) but i agree that they do require special treatment and care.

i'm not sure exactly what it entails, but i just make sure i don't use the eGo cone with it so it doesn't overheat (Scottbee wrote a great post about this), and i only drip with them.

i think the attys you got were DOA unfortunately. 2 out of the 3 LR attys i got from Nhaler hasn't lasted me longer than 2 days. i'm saving my 3rd for my new PV coming soon, but i'm worried it won't last me that long either. my only gripe about getting them from Nhaler is that $7.00 for shipping is a bit on the expensive side, so re-ordering them every couple of days adds up quickly. however they do ship fast and customer service with Drew is great.

i know good prophets sells them for cheaper and orders over $30 ships for free. i'm not saying these are better than Nhaler's or any other vendors since any LR atty can be DOA or faulty, but it seems they're at least a bit easier on the wallet.

I honestly can't justify the cost of LR attys from nhaler when the site clearly says there is not even a guarantee they will work. I don't like to gamble my money on a product that may or may not work without even the chance of a refund if it's DOA.

I get that a LOT of people have had great luck with these attys and they vape well and all that, but I guess I don't have disposable cash to spend on a possible dud. Think I'll stick with normal or expert attys from litecig on my ego :)

it's true that it's a gamble when purchasing LR attys, but once you've tried one, it's really hard to go back to regular attys. really REALLY hard! trust me, i don't have a lot of disposable cash either so i tried replicating the experience using a 5v PT so i'd be able to use regular attys. unfortunately, it's just not the same. :(

I ordered one LR Atty from NHaler, and it worked for about 5 minutes...then died - by the sounds of it....the batch of LR Attys they have are shot.....:( On an up-note, all 3 LR attys i have used so far from Totally Wicked, well....have been "Totally Wicked"

it would figure, on the morning I am about to order an eGo, I see new threads about issues with LR attys. I can't seem to figure this part out.. you CAN use regular attys on them, right? I read the other thread someone had suggested and it seems like the LR attys have lots of issues with eGo/tornados..

So if YOU (any one reading this post..) use an eGo.. what atty are you using with it?

I use both.. standard and LR atties.... if find standard atties to be satisfying (that is with the right nic content liquid) then you don't need to try LR atties

If you are not satisfied with the performance of the standard... a good way to kick it up a notch is to use Lr atties it "simulates" High Volt vaping (to a certain extent that is)

so no worries

That makes more sense.. the kit I am about to order comes with one standard and one LR atty.. cartos work with them as well, I would guess? (I've yet to try a carto lol)

I use regular old atty's on my eGo. I also use 510 cartos and an adapter for 808 cartos. All work well for me.
I personally am afraid to spoil myself with a LR atty.

i waited to post...

i use 801's on the egonado bat, and some 901s. the attys i got from dietsmoke wont work unless i put the staple mod in the adapter first, but with TWs 801s not a one problem.

this isnt saying anything about LR attys, but it sounded at first like a center post problem, but light is right, get a 4$ meter from harbor freight, and a eye loop with a led light (hehe) to look in side the atty from cart side...melted primary wick will deaded any atty...just sayin...hope it helps

yes, 510 cartos (as well as any 510 atty - LR or standard) work wonderfully with the eGo. if you do try them, i would suggest getting empty ones to fill with your own juice. i usually drip on my attys but i find the cartos really convenient whenever i'm on the go. they just hold a lot more juice than standard carts so you don't have to worry about constantly refilling it.

I have purchased LR atty's from 4 different vendors and so far the TW's seem to be working the best for me. Not to mention they are clearly marked LR, and so are the EM’s, NH and AS, not. Did you try using the LR atty on a regular 510 battery, if you have one, just to see if it will work? Last week my wife had the bad contact issue on her Tornado, I used a bent paperclip to wiggle the center post of the battery connector around a little to move it out some and presto the atty worked again.
