My first ecig: Extremely hard draw

hey guys,

i ordered a 'super e.cig' from totallywicked, arrived 3 days ago. i find that the draw is EXTREMELY hard. I practically need maximum inhale to get the led to light up and im not getting much vapor either.

i have tried both batteries (with a several hours of charging on each) that came with the starter kit.

i have also discarded a couple of the included cartridges thinking they were empty.

this is my first experience with an ecig.

is my atomizer bad? or am i missing something? is the draw on ecigs supposed to be so difficult? it doesnt seem that tough on all the videos online

I would seem that the port for the air flow might be a little small. I can only say give TW a email and see what they say.

It sounds like the atomizer to me. I have an 801 and was rotating using 3 different atomizers. One of the 3 atomizers had such a hard draw that I would end up with a headache from it. It still produced a bit of steam but just wasn't worth the effort. I had a guarantee on it and sent it back. They gave me a bit of grief about the fact that it still produced steam but they did replace it. I'm betting if you replace the atomizer your problem will be solved.

Don't throw the cartridges away!!!!!! They can be refilled. Look into some juice, and refill them. You'll go broke buying carts without the juice.

When you screw that atty to the battery you will see a few small holes at the connection point. make sure the air vent holes are lined up. Sometime one including myself tend to over tighten the Addy to the battery. Line up the holes. if it don't help, Internal problems may be the problem. Let us know how TW responds to your problem.

for those curious about TW customer support:

i sent them a email describing the problem etc.

they replied with a suggestion of dropping some liquid onto the atomizer screen. however i only bought a starter kit so i dont have any liquid to use.

failing which, they also offered to exchange the atomizer.

summary: CS seems A+ to me. if i indeed choose to embrace ecigs over analogues ill definitely wont hesitate to buy from them again. will report on the atomizer issue

I strongly recommend you get some liquid. The carts are way more expensive and are not nearly as good, in general.
