My coil is now 5 months old of daily use, why have I not tasted the burn yet?

Any other chemicals produced (such as acetoin/formaldehyde) are produced when heat is applied. So even if you put in a brand new coil after every single puff, if you start with the same base chemicals and apply the same heat you are going to get the same result, every single time.
I understand your point but that gunk he is talking about is build up of those chemicals, I'll use your tea analogy from earlier, you put a tea bag in water you'll get tea right? It's always going to be tea right? but if you were to burn that same tea bag and then put it in the water you will end up with tea that has carcinogens in it.

The chemical composition of Propylene Glycol, Propylene glycol is used with things like flavorings because it is incredibly great at suspending particles, to go beyond that, doctors/hospitals will actually use PG in conjunction with a nebulizer for drugs that are not very water soluble since PG suspends them better now with that said it is 100% likely that the black gunk, the build up is leeching into the PG and then being aerosolized and inhaled and since his coil is so old I can be 100% sure that he is inhaling more toxins than he would be if he were instead using a fresher coil since there would be less build up to suspend.

I am not saying the levels are very high or anything like that, there's no way of telling without a study being performed I'm just saying letting it go that far will reduce the ratio of harm reduction vapor products offer which will obviously still be less toxic than that of tobacco Cigarettes.

ANYONE that knows anything about chemistry can 100% say that. Chemistry is math and math is constant. If A+B=C today then it will still be that tomorrow, next week, or 100 years from now. You can't put in the same chemicals, apply the same amount of heat today and get different results than you did yesterday. That would be like saying you can put tea leaves in water and if you reheat it enough times it will make gasoline. I'm sorry but you you are going to have tea every single time, even if you use the same pan and don't clean it. The bad taste usually comes from overcooked juice or wick but overcooked spaghetti is still spaghetti. It may taste bad now but it doesn't magically become hexavalent chromium. The build up on the coil (the "black stuff") came out of your juice, it was ALWAYS in there. It may have changed states but it was in there to begin with. Changing the coil will NOT change what chemicals are in your juice nor will it change what chemicals are in the vapor. Chemistry does NOT work that way. The only way to get different results is to change either the chemicals being put into it, OR change the heat applied. Changing the coil does nothing to the equation.
Seriously. ...so you know for a fact that this coil hasn't got gunked juice flow holes or the af isn't gunked up? And what happens to a coil that doesn't get enough air or liquid? Yes those 2 things can possibly starve the cotton and even burn it...so while I'm impressed with your words, not impressed with your knowledge of how things actually work....so because you think you know what's going on, you disagree with people trying to recommend the safest route? Come on man

As I said already the OP has abandoned this thread so any more debate is really moot. However, I will say that if that wicking was so gunked up that it was blocking air and/or juice flow then there would be a noticeable performance hit. You also mention burning the cotton. The only way a person would not notice a burning cotton taste is if their tongue had been removed. OP says that none of that is happening so this line of argument is a straw dog based on the input parameters. Again though, based on the fact the OP created his account posted 3 times in this thread to start this argument and then vanished completely, I am starting to suspect the input parameters ever even existed as presented, making any point on either side of the debate moot.

Actually you would be surprised, my wife must not have taste buds, I kid you not. .I build her rta's and a few weeks later I ask her if she wants me to rebuild., she says it's ok...I taste it and it's nasty. I honestly don't know how she could vape it...anyways I think if your in doubt, throw it out
