I knew it would happen, the day finally came when I stopped getting buzzed while vaping. :(

My nicotine tolerance built up gradually at first, when I was vaping around 3 times a day, but when I started vaping 3-5 times daily, it kicked into high gear. Nausea from vaping too much disappeared altogether, even when I was using 2.4% nicotine juice, and, a few days later, my buzz disappeared as well. I used to be able to feel something after a few minutes, but it now takes about half an hour of vaping for me to start to notice any effect from vaping.

So, that being said, I'm gonna kick the habit for some time, but I'm not entirely sure how long it will take to press the "Reset" button on my nicotine tolerance. I've read a few places on the net that smokers usually take a break of around two weeks. How long would you guys recommend?

Maybe if I took a 2 week vacation away from work and my family I could be tolerable to be around if I kicked the nic. Heck, I don't even like me when I am nic deprived.

Maybe I'm doing this all wrong, but I don't really get a buzz from nicotine at all - I didn't even with cigarettes. I just vape because I enjoy it and I get a relaxed 'don't need a nic fix' feeling.

Edit - started at 24, now 18 during the day, 12 at night.

Wow, if I could survive without nicotine for 2 weeks without killing everyone I love and numerous random people then I would probably just quit!8-o It doesn't sound like you were a big smoker and are not a big vaper so maybe that won't be that difficult for you. It would kill me or large numbers of people around me. Neigher is OK!

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, because you say "smoking" but then you say 24mg strength liquid.

So you were vaping and you were actually getting some kind of "buzz" from nicotine but that "buzz" has stopped?
So then were you getting a "buzz" when you were smoking real cigarettes?

I don't comprehend OP either. Vapeing is not smoking and visa versa.

Oh yeah, I meant "vaping" not "smoking." I'm still new to this sort of terminology. Edited the OP to reflect this.

Im at 12 mg now but after 5 I only vape 0 nic. And to tell the truth I can't tell a difference except for the taste a little. I don't have any cravings and don't vape anymore then usual.
I think I'll need to stay away from even the 0 nic juice, since I've seen a lot of evidence that 0 nic juice can contain trace amounts of nicotine, and I want to make the most of these 2 crappy weeks!

How many cigarettes did you used to smoke?
Were you getting this "buzz" then?

How long have you been vaping without smoking?
To clarify, it has been about 4 months since I've smoked a cigarette. It's just been vaping since then. I smoked anywhere from 2 Camel Ultra-lights to 5 hand-rolled unfiltered cigarettes a day, though I probably averaged 3 cigarettes a day. I love smoking after meals.
