I would contact Mt. Baker Vapor and verify that this is legit.

I have not had any problems with Blue Check via Mt. Baker Vapor, but, then again, I am 67. Due to California law, they have to verify me each and every time I order.

When was the last time you ordered from MBV? Since you are out of the country, it could just be Blue Check covering their donkeys in case you are underage, etc.

In any case, do not use any links provided in the email, at least until you verify with MBV or Blue Check, or both, that this is a legit request.

I've been ordering fairly regularly from a CA supplier and they only asked for proof once saying they would keep it on file for future orders. Sounds more like your supplier dosen't want to bother keeping things on file.

My problem was with Vapor 101 who decided they needed the ID's for both my clearing agent and customs broker. They didn't get them nor any of my many orders.

Here's a thread that discusses vendor age verification requirements List of vendors Age Verification requirements. Here's a link to the list of age verification services (AVS), their requirements/methods of verifying age and which service (if any) specific vendors are using; Vendor Age Verification Procedure List
Some age verification services share your personal information with data brokers and other entities, unless you like spam I'd read each service's privacy statement.

From what I remember when the law first took effect here, vendors are supposed to verify age each and every time you place an order.
