The menthol and stuff with cinnamon in it does it to me also. I used apple pie last week and have had the worst sore in my cheek/gum in the back for the last week. I should have known that was the cause cinnamon always gave my babies diaper rash and mouth sores. I was using menthol a few weeks ago and my tongue had swollen buds and I had a small sore on my gum I knew that the menthol was to blame.

The only thing you can do is use the process of elimination; and this is the only think a doctor can recommend. Put yourself in our place - all we can see is a little sore. There is nothing written on the sore that says what it's from, and we have no magic crystal ball that will tell us. The doc can only advise that you cut back or try to eliminate possible causative agents - and you can do that yourself with zero co-pay. BTW, I have heard of folks that got mouth & lip sores when they started vaping. Some get them intermittantly, some get them only with certain formulations (flavors, VG vs PG, etc.), and some get them with higher nic levels. Dr. G.

Do you buy aloe at a health food store?

I buy it at Vitamin shoppe ...but any health food store should sell it. My Mom went through chemo and radiation this last year, Had her drink it every day. She is now in remission. I'm not saying it was the aloe that did that but I do know it boosted her immune system. It's some good stuff. One of the natural wonders on this planet for sure.
