Montreal Velvet

Velvet, from Montreal, promises us a tobacco flavor, combined with the sweetness of pistachio ice cream and a touch of caramel, as well as an extra note that I, at least, perceive and will comment on in more detail later. Thanks from here to Vapeo24 for making these reviews possible.

According to the brand; Velvet de Montreal Original is a unique creation that combines the intensity of sun-dried vanilla tobacco with the creamy sweetness of artisanal pistachio ice cream, culminating in a delicate touch of golden caramel.

First, some instructions to be able to mix the liquid, as you can see, the bottle is a longfill type, containing 30mL of aroma. To this bottle we must add 70mL of base liquid, and in addition, being totally optional, we can add two nicokits to complete the 120mL bottle. After that, it should be left to steep for five days, although it is always recommended to leave it for a few more.

Well, the tobacco can be perfectly perceived in the smell, a tobacco that is really dry but smells really good. We can also appreciate the sweet notes (although I don't notice the pistachio) and here comes the surprise of this liquid, as I have perceived, it presents an alcoholic note. I have tried to decipher or get close to it and I will comment on it in the next section, the vaping test.

Well, when vaping, I warn that this liquid has a fairly pronounced throat hit, so we must be careful with the amount of nicotine we add. The main and clear note is tobacco, a dry tobacco, although without the vanilla tone, at least for me, I'm still looking for it. You can notice that sweetness of the caramel and the freshness of the ice cream, but I don't find the pistachio flavor, although I do find its dryness. On the other hand, let's talk about the alcoholic note, here in Spain at least a liqueur is sold, known as Licor 43, although I also affirm that it may be something like Amaretto, as it reminds me of that characteristic flavor of tiramisu, a famous dessert and one of my favorites.

In general, the liquid has very well-defined and well-presented nuances, although I miss the promised pistachio. It's a pretty good liquid, although not for everyday vaping.
