I'm curious to know if when some of you mix a flavor from say one vendor with a little bit of something else from another vendor if you tend to try and keep the pg/vg ratios and nic levels the same or not. Does this matter at all? Example: can you mix a 70/30 blend of lets say menthol from one vendor with lets say a 50/50 blend of some kind of fruit flavor or something from another vendor?? Or perhaps a bakery flavor mixed with a different vendors tobacco flavor??? I mean I don't see why not just curious to know if you play mad scientist with your random e liquids you have lying around if its better to try and stick with atleast the same pg/vg ratios or does it matter? Plus the fact that different vendors use different brands of flavorings, nic, pg, vg etc. Id be interested to know if mixing vatios liquids throws off the chemistry of the end product. I know this is a weird inquiry, I've been drinking lol

I do it sometimes when I don't feel like rewicking depending on what flavors I'm using. My Origen dripper started this week with 6mg Killer Custard by Vapetasia, then I switched in some 6mg RY4 by Killer juice, and now I have 12mg Good Life Vapor's High Five in it. So far, I'm not a fan of Killer Juice's RY4 but it was pretty tasty mixed with High Five. I've mixed The Steam Co's Gentleman's Reserve and Old English Orchard with High Five as well and they've also been pretty good.

You might end up with an odd PG/PG ratio or a non-standard nic level but it's not a big deal really. I've never mixed any together that resulted in something nasty though I'm sure it's possible.

I have a catch bottle that I dump fruity and menthol flavors together that I'm not really happy with them.
It's sometimes fun watching the juices separate in the bottle.
I have a 180ml bottle that had around 100ml of liquids that have already been gathered.
This morning I dumped about 20ml 100% VG based liquid into the big bottle and watched it sink to the bottom, then put in 30 mls of a PG based menthol that floated on the top.

A bit of shaking and I think its mostly mixed, but it will take a week or 2 before I'll tap into this bottle for use so there is a chance for it to sit and mix over time.

Never ever under any circumstances mix different PG/VG ratio's, or different nicotine levels, or even different flavors, like bubble gum and tobacco, especially never mix menthol with non-menthol. Not only is it extremely dangerous (more e-cigarette users die from this than even charging their batteries too long), but it is also against the law, being a felony in most states! Unless you steep it for at least two years!

Stay safe my friends!

If you think that 2 or 3 or 10 flavors sound like they would go together, give it a shot. It won't hurt you or the liquid any more that way, than the way it came. I've had a few flavors that I've improved by doing that. They all have PG/VG, most have nic and flavorings. Nothing you do by mixing them together will change the common ingredients. Doing this is how a lot of people get started in DIY. :) :vapor:

LOL! Yeah I figured it was probably one of those dumb late night questions after having one to many adult beverages but what I was getting at was aside from flavors over lapping when you change juice and don't feel like changing cartos or heads or whatever I wondered if anyone would purposely mix up a bottle with two totally different juices and if so would it mess up the chemisty or PH or whatever the heck you call it. Am I even making any sense? Hahaha. Typically if I'm looking for a certain flavor profile I'll just find a vendor that makes it already. I am curious about this because I have a few juices here that taste like crap but have some other juices from other vendors that might be good to mix in to make the crappy juice better without having to throw it out. Waste not, want not. That's my motto

That's why I dump my unwanted fruit flavors together, I don't really like any one of them on their own, but together end up not so bad.
Watermelon, peach and coconut a little light and the sour cherry sometimes evens each other out.

The only word of advice, use complimentary profiles. Don't think that cinnamon red hot that was a bit much and that crab juice that you got on a dare are somehow gonna taste good together.

I do it all the time. In fact I buy a melon mix from one company in large quantities and mix it with a much more expensive sweet watermelon candy like flavor from another company in much smaller amounts mix them about 5 to 1 for (IMHO) the perfect melon vape. I also will mix some of my DIY with commercial juices to embellish them.
