Avid diyer here. I have made over a hundred different adv's for my friends and family. And I love every minute of it. Helping them find there true absolutely favorite vape. Tweaking many times over until perfect.

However mine has completely alluded. Me. I know what I want but I just can't find it. And I'm accumulating bottles of flavorings I won't ever use for myself.

Please help if you can. Save me further time, money, and frustration.

Strong mint. Like mint gum. Maybe wriggles double mint type. With absolutely no menthol!

Capellas spearmint smells just yummy but it is almost tasteless at even 20% and going bitter above 15%. But still hardly any mint flavor to it. Double mint from ecig express is double menthol to say the least. Again smells yummy.

If any of you know of wintergreen, or spearmint flavorings that are strong but not menthol please please please let me know. I would be ever so grateful.

I think the label "mint" can be a real mystery- and not just in e-liquid terms. You never know what it is until you taste it. I too like my coolness/freshness but I don't mind some menthol in my juices. I have been using the TFA flavors recently like Steve. They are cheap to try so get them all- Spearmint, peppermint, horehound but don't forget the Koolada. I gives anything a nice cool blast.
My recent mix was very similar to Steve's --peppermint, menthol, koolada, creme de menthol and a drop of EM. The mint family flavors seem to mix well with one another well- I'm thinking you may like the Spearmint the best. Have fun

I have some spearmint flavor drops that I got from DesertVapes.com that are good. I also have a bottle of McCormick's flavoring that I got from my local grocery store that is a combination of just mint & peppermint extracts that I mix at 10%.

I got some "strong" mint from a local shop that smells wonderful but it's too strong to vape unless you have a really bad head cold. Then it would be perfect! Ethyl Maltol aka TFA Cotton Candy (but not the circus type) mutes flavors and adds a bit of sweetness. It might tame some of the strong mints down for you.

I was a menthol smoker for more than 30 years and always on the look out for the strongest minty, menthol cigarette or cigar I could find. The stronger menthol e-liquids got me off the smokes but now I don't like menthol at all. Whatever the "hol" is in menthol is just too much for me now.

Misnamed "mint" flavors just tick me off - and there are a lot of them. Here are the ones I have notes on, the good and the not good:

FA Peppermint: true peppermint, slightly creamy, cool but not icy cold. Good at 3%
FA Spearmint: true spearmint, not very sweet, not very cool. Good at 3-4% (+Koolada+Sucralose = Wrigley's Spearmint gum)
FW Candy Cane: sweet true peppermint, just like a candy cane, cool. Good at 12-15%
TFA Mint Candy: very creamy spearmint + peppermint, also sweet. Okay at 12-15%
TFA Peppermint: includes spearmint flavor, not just peppermint. Tastes like DoubleMint gum at 12% with Koolada + Sucralose
Vaping Zone SC Mint Gum: not minty, more like juicy fruit gum
Dekang Peppermint: icy menthol with hint of peppermint
Hangsen Mint Blast: all menthol, very icy

I love you guys for you help. Truly grateful.

I will be avoiding any described as cool though. As a complete lack of added menthol is what I am after. No koolada or menthol drops at all. Or peppermint. As I am simply just not a fan.

I'll be placing orders during my lunch today. I am determined to keep trying.

Thank you so much.
