While tha auto batteries are slightly easier to use the batteries don't last quite as long. With a manual you have a small button to press as you draw. The battery is only activated when you press the button hence the longer battery life.

But it's up to you. It's about what you'll be comfortable with. The difference isn't that great. I'm only pointing out to you things that will give you info. I am in no way trying to influence any decision you want to make.

It's easy to know for sure what you want once you get going with it. Your personal experience with it will guide you toward what you prefer.

juice wise. I would say that get a tobacco as a "banker" juice. So if you get cravings you haven't got to rely on cherry pie flavoured liquid to get you through..lol.

I use a golden virginia 24mg as my banker. I experiment with other flavours but always go back to my gold virg for a few refills.

If you find something that calms you in a few drags then i would have that as a "banker". The rest you can play about with and get all the tastes and aromas with.

I cannot recommend Miniciggy.

Tried three times an order with them, over more than a year and every time no 'next day delivery'. Not even next next day - in fact expect to send angry emails to the company and finally get it after 7-9 days! And that's despite a £4 delivery charge!

There is a definite pattern here :(

I have, finally, receieved the new model miniciggy. It's an S808D.

Overall, works very well; impressed. I cover one of the holes (at the join) with cellotape and then it is near perfect. I also keep one of the silicone mouthpieces on it as it feels better in the mouth.

Very good price for what you get - charger (mains and usb), 10 cartos and 1 battery.

I'd suggest getting an extra battery if you order. They are a bit longer than the old ones but both the life and performance are far better.

Despite what the website says, the cartos will not work with the older type batteries (under-powered).

The cartos come with a sickly tasting liquid (not so bad at the time but leaves you wanting to avoid it). Once refilled with something good, however, :)

Value : 5/5
* Liquid taste 1/5 (being generous, though some might like it - a super sweet marzipan-like taste); PG base and, even so, lots of vapor
Delivery 1/5 Always had problems though they do resend after complain
Performance of the new model 5/5 (cartos, charger and battery)
Auto battery performance - great.
No burnt tastes (though I do keep the cartos topped up)

Delivery in UK is £4 (only 1st class) so we are talking £24 total.

If it wasnt for the delivery issues, I'd recommend miniciggy, but as it stands, if you're not in a hurry or feel lucky, a good performer at a good price.

---

Edit: after fully charging the battery, the taste is much better; strange but the sweetness seems to be almost gone; so perhaps 3 or 4 / 5 would be a better judgement.

---

I'll get another of these :)
