So I am just full of newbie questions. I really like the look and style of the mini pro2, but I have a problem with getting hits that taste burnt pretty frequently. Not an "omg, my mouth is melting" burnt, but just an unpleasant burnt taste. This frustrates me to no end. I am using kanger coils, and this happens even when they're new. I have a vamo and a twist, but normally have them set at the lowest voltage. I just want a good, consistent, pure taste. Help!

They just came out with a MiNi Protank airflow controller attachment. You may want to try that. Dry hits usually indicate a wicking and/or air flow issue. The airflow controller will solve the air problem and may even help with wicking.
What kind of juice do you use? Is it high VG? Thick juices can be hard on tanks like that. You also could have bad heads... I personally haven't ran into too many of those... and I buy the ones from Kanger.

Mini PT2 should be fine. Using one with a low setting would normally be OK; i get mine up to 8 watts no trouble.
There is almost certainly a wicking problem - Are you a) letting them soak up liquid when new? and b) vaping steadily or puffing on them like mad.

Why do people tell NEW VAPERS something like that without mentioning that you rewicked with cotton or use dual coils?

I do chain vape most of the time. is there an upgraded tank/wicking system I should liik into that would better suit my needs?

rewick with cotton.

with new vapers it is common to overpower and end up burning stuff on the coil, then even if you dial back down, you still end up with burnt taste because there is burnt gunk on the coil.

miniprotank2v2
standard workhorse tank.
- glass
- eGo thread
- changeable mouthpiece
- common, easy-to-find replacement coilhead.

- you can get an airflow-control base for it

- you can use the miniprotank's base on a protank but to fill the space you will need to add an extra silicone cap like this:

Protank on miniprotank eGo base.

- you can dryburn and/or rewick the coils easily:

I had this problem when I started vaping. That was my first setup. I was in a B/M asking about it and a hard core vapor dude told me to hold it verticle and suck on it a couple times. You could see the air bubbles go up in the tank. Not too much as it'll flood, just enough to keep the wicks wet I guess. It seemed to work ok, but I didn't stick with it long enough to be a good judge. I tossed it a couple days after that and moved on.

That may be an easy fix without getting too involved with it. You may want to try shorter draws too.
