Nic`d Up in Oklahoma!
It's too much NIC. You need to find the balance between total NIC intake and vaping style that works for you. I would suggest dropping your NIC 2mg's each vape session/ dose until the the HA goes away. At that point you can move on to what balance of PG/VG you prefer.

BOL.
vaping works, but you have to work it out for your personal metabolism.

Hey guys, so I'll just give an update. My headaches have gotten better, and it's nic related... but not what you may think.
When I take a hall, i get a mild headache until I take enough pulls to get the nicotine I need, than the headache goes away, but if I take too many pulls, it'll come back. Strange I know... but what I do is take a pull, give it 30 seconds and take another. Depending on the time of day, it could be anywhere between 5-10 pulls required on my Eleaf iCare 2.
I'm vaping 18 mg of nic, and it does the trick.
With the liquids I used before, I don't think I was getting enough nicotine. This is just a guess, but what was probably happening was my body felt the nicotine, but expected more, thus increased the craving for a cigarette which manifested itself as a dull annoying headache.
I never felt that I was getting too much nicotine, as I wasn't getting any heart palpitations, or nervousness. When I upped my liquid to the 18 mg freebase, it worked much better for me. So for now, I think I will stick with the juice I'm using, and when I run out, I'll most likely stick to the 18 mg nic content, and possible slowly reduce it over time.
Once again, thank you everyone for your opinions and suggestions.
I'm very VERY happy I found a way to kill the craving for a cigarette in an enjoyable fashion.

This is just guessing, but I think since I always preferred a full flavoured cigarette over a light one, my body was expecting a certain amount of nicotine which it wasn't getting.

The first time I vaped without a headache was using the "My Von Erl" Tobak flavoured POD. It was at 18 mg nic, and I actually liked the flavour, but the device I had must have been a bad batch. There was plenty of spit back, and the replacement pods didn't fit properly.

With the Eleaf iCare 2 at 18 mg nic content, I'm getting a good flavour and I'm killing the cigarette craving, without the spit back or misfires.

I'm very happy with my current setup, and now since I found something that works for me, I'm looking forward to trying some different flavours.

Thanks again,
Sincerely
Mike

I see a nicotine "need" as an irritation in that I need to stop and go to a location to vape when I can't or don't want to take a break. I started at 36 and now I am running at 2-3mg in my DIY. Sometimes I get a real hankering for a vape, but it usually occurs when I am wound up or stressed. To me that is okay. The vape is not the answer, taking a break is the answer and if I go somewhere and vape, I do get some nicotine which also helps settle me. My doctor explained that nicotine in minor amounts is fine for my aging self, and the act of taking breaks is very good.

To my understanding, and only my understanding, nicotine is not a problem, taking on to many tasks is more likely the problem.

Vaping to stop smoking has been great for me. Lowering my Nic intake via vaping has also been great for me. Learning to take breaks, I am still working on.

Life goes on.

Keep your vape out of your line of sight and let your body tell you when you need to vape. You won't under or over vape that way.

Great post man, thank you :)
Funny thing, I just recently started vaping outside at home. My wife actually likes the smell and says I can vape in the house (where smoking was a no no) but... truth be told, vaping outside is the break when I need it and it clears the head better than taking pulls while working on a task.
Cheers man & thank you,
M.
