I ordered a Smoktech Natural and have since decided that I dont want to get into rba's after a very troublesome experience. Do mechs work well with a LR carto without a kick?

Welcome , and whatever . Yes the mechanical mod works with all the devices , even SR , as well as the LR ones . You can use a 510 to Ego adapter and run all the various Kanger / stardust type devices too . It's mechanical , so less to break than an electronic one .

My first PV was a Mech Mod and I began with Boge SR cartos. I then moved up to SmokTech 1.7 ohm XL single coil cartos and the difference was very noticeable. Although rebranded here's a review of the ST 1.7 cartos. Next I added a tank+ the 1.7 cartos.
