Hey, I'm new, but I have a couple of friends who tried the mall cart stuff and I think the mall models are proprietary or bad knock offs. I gave one of my friend's smoke everywhere e cigs a quick try and it was terrible.

I made the plunge a week ago and picked up a Joye510 kit and am loving it.

You should tell your friend to check out this forum.

Most of the mall kiosk models seem to be garbage. My wife and I lucked out with the one we got from the mall. It was a 510 model.

If having something that looks like a cigarette is important to your friend then something like a 510 would be good. If thats not important I recommend the ego. The ego has a much longer lasting battery. There are other models That have their own pro's and cons. I don't have any experience with them so I can't say they are better or worse.

As the other posters said... get your friend in here.

Hi J8,
I would steer your friend or friends to this forum. There is so much good information here.

If I were starting over and know what I know now , I would have purchased a better ecig if one were made at the time. It really wasn't. There wasn't even 5 or 6v vaping at that time.

Forget this kiosk stuff. For the most part it is expensive, hard to get parts (if you can at all) and usually don't last very long..

Get yourself a good pv, juice and some battys and your experience will really change for the better.

There are so many out there that are good pvs..

I like the The Buzz, GLV, Little Sister, Silver Bullet, Omega,
and find these have been the best so far.

All these pvs use regular type non- proprietary batteries that last a long time and can be replaced inexpensively .

No saying The Ego isn't a good pv just that I like more than 3.2v when vaping. 4.5-5v is where it is best for me! The Sweet spot..

Good luck.

From what I've gotten from talking to A WHOLE lot of people I wouldn't buy an ecig from a mall kiosk if they offered it FREE LOL. A friend of mine told me that a mall kiosk she visited was selling a 15 ml bottle of juice for 60$ thats 100% mark up.....forget it Seeing that kind of stuff would be enuff to put anyone off the thought that ecigs could even work.
I was just lucky enuff to have a friend who had already made the mistakes and could advise us of what not to do LOL ALL vapers should be on a place like this forum!!
Of course this is all just my opinion and we all know what those are like.

The real motive of the question was that I wanted to make sure a 510 would be an upgrade for her, and not the equivalent model to what she has. Turns out she brought hers in to work and she tried my 510, blew her mind. Brought her back to vaping she is ordering one from cignot (who I recommended) since she doesn't want a larger one.

I myself ordered an eGo and plan on buying my first mod soon. Not really worried about the cost I save $120-$180 a week not smoking analogues.

Think I converted more than 10 people and I haven't even been vaping for 72 hours yet.

My friend also bought the mall brand, smokefree, and was looking to find the part numbers.
His looks like a 510....but how can we be certain?
He's the one who got me and numerous other friends researching e-cigs.....and then buying them.
Poor sucker :(
But, I appreciate him taking one for the team.
I am using an M410 (and recommending litecigs) to everyone. The exposed atomizer makes great vapor.
