the 16 and 30 can use the same coil the difference is the 30 has many more wicks then the 16 my guess is the extra wicking will bring plenty of juice but its gonna take up juice space in the tiny 16 body.

same type of coil.
The main difference is the 30 can be dissassembled for thorough cleaning.

Sorry, that second picture doesn't look anything like an iclear30.

To the OP: The Iclear30 was one of my least favorite heads. I actually like the IClear16 a lot better, but it's still not one of my favorites (I like BCC clearos a lot more than TCC's).

There is an Iclear30S as well (which I haven't tried, but which also doesn't look anything like that 2nd picture.).

Edit: an IClear30 looks like this:
$8.28 Authentic Innokin iClear 30 Dual Coil Cleaomizer (3.0ml) - translucent at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

And an Iclear30S looks like this (clearly not compatible with the iclear16)

My friend gave me a authentic Innokin iClear 16 Top Coil Clearomizer and told me I could replace the head with a Innokin Coil Head for iClear30. Making it a iClear 30 Dual Coil Cleaomizer 1.6ml. Will it work and be as good as a iClear 30 Dual Coil Cleaomizer but smaller?

they are both dual top coil clearomizers... the difference is the amount of wicking/wicks, and size/appearance of the tanks.
