Kinda. Has to do with voltage of your e-cig too. A 7.4v unregulated mod with a 3.0oAm will be hotter than an eGo with a 2.0LRoAm...

Yes, you can tell the difference, especially in cartomizers and drip tip attys. As the voltage goes up or the resistance goes down, the wattage goes up ... like a light bulb.

current in watts = voltage x resistance. Increase either and the wattage rises.

Voltage = Current x Resistance, or Current = Voltage / Resistance

Power (watts) = Voltage x Current = Voltage x Voltage / Resistance

Power increases when either Voltage increases or Resistance decreases.
