Yes, you can tell the difference, especially in cartomizers and drip tip attys. As the voltage goes up or the resistance goes down, the wattage goes up ... like a light bulb.
current in watts = voltage x resistance. Increase either and the wattage rises.

If I enter the voltage of the battery and the resistence of the atty the calculator will tell me how hard the battery has to work (amps), and how hot the vape will be (watts).
